I stayed at the Zodiac lodge for 3 months after finding the listing on flatmates and it was a good experience. It's a very quiet household, walking distance to Sydney University and the shops. Rent is reasonable. I was initially turned off by the other reviews as well but it ended up being a good stay. John (current manager) is very friendly.

The place is cool, clean, and quiet, and the people (owner and manager) are really nice guys. I was reluctant about it when I saw the negative reviews here but the reviews turned out to be WRONG.

The terrible review scores speak for themselves. I sent Zodiac Lodge a message on flatmates.com.au with just my LinkedIn and Instagram profiles because I'm moving back from London and they blocked me, no idea why. My friends advise me to steer clear as the place is in disrepair, psychotic owner and hostile staff. Apparently you have to announce visitors / friends onto the premises if you live there, sounds like a prison.

Truly a traumatizing experience. Until they change their current management this place is not a good place to reside. The worst experience I have ever had in an accommodation. The decent rate is not worth the headache of dealing with the unprofessional and hostile staff.

It is a good place to live. It is quiet and organized. The localization is too good. Near the bus stop and Sydney University. Is easy to go to the city, you can go walking.

I live there and it is a good place to live. Although the owner is not a good person, there are some amazing people living there. There are six bathrooms, 12 bedrooms and 2 kitchens.
