Located inside the Bankstown Sport Club and it offers yum cha now. 4 of us had 7 dishes. Traditional food and well prepared Chinese tea. We enjoyed the quietness and received warm hospitality. Members got discount on the total bill. Parking is free.

I ordered sweet & sour pork and also scallop cooked with ginger & shallot. The pork was quite good even the oil was swimming in the sauce. The biggest let down is the scallops. It used the frozen one and it was mushy and very unpleasant. They also used frozen ginger so there was no aroma of the ginger in the cooking. When I complained, the supervisor or manager, instead of apologising, he argued and said that all restaurants in Australia use frozen scallops. The thing is if what he said was true, why only in this restaurant the taste is as bad as food court quality. When I pay over $40 for a dish, I expect the quality will be better than the $20 quality that sell outside. Very bad customer service as well as bad food quality.

Xing Yan located inside Bankstown Sports club so it means that I can enjoy the membership discount. Finally, it comes down to $388.5 and the food and beverage are more than enough to let 6 adults and 3 kids full.
This family dinner is to celebrate New Year’s Eve before some is going to travel overseas, we enjoyed live seafood including Silver Perch and Pipi , signature whole Peking duck , must have Sweet Sour pork and special Seafood combo clay pot and King prawns in salty duck egg yolk plus soup and soft drinks and steam rice. In addition, after asked the manager, we brought cold and fresh beer from the Brew House in the Bankstown Sports Club.
Delicious food and good service such as the waiter proactively come to remove the bones from the steamed Silver Perch, much appreciated. Also, thanks Kenneth his initiative ask for comment after I paid the bill 👍

Came with no one to welcome.

Sat down staff was attentive

Ordered duck pancakes with duck and noodles

Pancakes were abit thicker than usual and not much ingredients provided which is unusual given $38 price range

Noodles came out burnt from the wok apparently normal though was charred and obviously was careless with the cooking time.

Asked for it to be redone and abit more duck as no where near half duck of meat in there.... Come back with new dish though had heaps of mushrooms instead..... With the remains of the duck unceremoniously shoved in a plastic bag for take away.... Wow 😂 *

Avoid this place.

Overpriced, Out of touch and a disgrace to beautiful Hong Kong and Asian cuisine.

We had lunch in one of the private rooms at the back of the restaurant. The restaurant was busy, so we had to chase people for service. But the food was delicious and it came quickly once we ordered. We will come again to try the yum cha.

A la carte style yum cha and have all your favourites. The food came out really fast, booked our spot online via their website so no waiting at all, and we also ordered a fried rice for the toddlers which was very generous in serving and delicious, high chair and ikea table wear provided for them!
The food was fresh and delicious, but minus 1 for the prawn noodles and didn’t have tofu pudding (on a Saturday), but everything else was great.
Able to use points, discounts and birthday voucher from the club so price came down quickly.
Free parking as u just need to validate at entry/exit with the club, and free to sign up to get your 10% off (my husband did, as he is new to the club)

Bankstown Xing Yan yumcha is located inside Bankstown Sports Club. The food here is just okay, not outstanding. The menu only has the names of the dishes without any pictures or prices. I ordered 7 dishes plus dessert. The staff was enthusiastic, but the food took too long to arrive. After finishing the meal, I was shocked again because the bill came out total $91, and that was after a 10% discount club members. The prawn dumpling was $12.80, chicken feets $9.80 cheapest and tea was $2.80 per person. If you go with 10 people, you’ll already spend $28 just for tea. “Once but never again “
