This place is fantastic! The pool was heated, we went bike riding around the lake, canoed, paddle-boated, played tennis, and so much more. This would be a great place to stay for families and couples. The room was cosy and quaint and had everything you need for a great stay, even heated bathroom floor. We can't wait to go back!!

This is the second time we have been to Club Wyndham Ballarat. We love the heritage buildings, extensive grounds and the lake, although heritage restrictions mean air conditioning and washing machines are not possible in the units. Even though we had a few hot and humid days, overhead fans made the rooms were reasonably comfortable. Everything in our apartment was in excellent condition, with an up to date bathroom. |All the staff, including grounds workers were friendly and helpful. |We found plenty to do around Ballarat, without repeating what we did last time.

Loved our stay in one of the 3bdrm apartments. We took advantage of the veggie garden to cook with fresh zucchini, siverbeet and chives. ||||The staff were very helpful 24/7 when we need their assistance. The whole team is friendly including the maintenance and gardening team as well. ||||No real pressure to attend member meetings which is what we prefer.

Amazing location, with great comfort. Lots of activities available on site. Close to everything that the City of Ballarat has to offer though still in a comfortable quite location. Apartments are fully heated with lots of room. Friendly Staff available to assist. Easy access to facilities.

My partner and I and our three teenage children spent three nights here. The check-in process was very simple and the staff were very friendly and helpful. |Our room was very clean, tidy, and comfortable with all modern conveniences. The only minor complaint was the lack of a full-length mirror.|The hotel and grounds were well maintained. They have done a great job of updating and modernizing the facilities while maintaining the character and historical aspects of the buildings. While there are parts of the complex that are still in need of restoration, it is understandable that this is a long and expensive process due to the heritage status. I wish we had a little more time to enjoy the many activities offered.||We thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the hotel and grounds with James. His passion for history and for the hotel itself was very obvious and made the tour extremely interesting. ||The hotel is quite a distance from the city centre, but easily accessible by car. Amenities such as supermarkets and takeaways were relatively close (20-minute walk).||

We were invited to Club Wyndham Ballarat, but it’s actually in Sebastapol, for a long weekend. We had a guided tour on the first afternoon, where we learned that after the death of the owner the property was acquired by the Catholic Church and used as an orphanage. There is a heated swimming pool, tennis courts, gym and disc golf (frisbee) course, canoes and paddle boats in the lake and more. We finish the tour with a drink in the lounge and later had a game of pool.|Our hosts had a bedroom with an ensuite. We had an other bedroom with a double bed and would have shared a bathroom with the occupants of the third bedroom, with two single beds, except there weren’t any. The kitchen was well equipped and our hosts cooked for us on the first night. We watched football etc on Fox Sports from comfortable lounge chairs. Our room also had a TV. It was such a great place for a relaxing weekend.

Lots of options for things to do at the resort, in Ballarat, and the surrounding area. Loved the buildings and their history, and the grounds are beautiful. My rooms had all that I needed, including a very comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and engaging. Really enjoyed my stay and keen to return.

The location of the resort is around 7km from the city centre, other shops are around 1.5km+ or so...
Staff are very friendly and helpful
Resort does not have an elevator to get to level 1 apartments. They can only be accessed via the stairs
Outside of the resort: Indoor swimming pool in a separate building from the spa & small gym room
Lots of fun with free use of e-bikes and bicycles. lake: x2 kayaks, x2 pedal boats
Large grounds to also enjoy walking around the lake
How awsome, fruit & veggie orchard for visitors to access & enjoy (visitors tend to pick veggies & fruit before they are ready to pick/eat 🤦🏻‍♀️(seasonal planting)
Our Level 1, 2 bdrm apartment was lovely, spacious, warm, electric blankets on all the beds, lovely open kitchen & spacious lounge room (You only need to provide your own food as kitchen has all the cooking items & utensils, plates, glasses etc)
Large TV in master room, safe in closet to put your valuables)

2nd bdrm has 2 comfortable single beds
Separate spacious bathroom with shower/toilet (no ensuite in master room)
