Absolutely no hesitation in recommending World Travel Design/Katrina. Looking for a break from Melbourne that didn't involve long haul flights, Katrina suggested the beautiful (but unknown to us) island of Sumba (an hour's fight east of Bali).

Online research confirmed that Sumba was ideal for us so Katrina proceeded to book return flights Melbourne/Bali, overnight accommodation in Bali to/from Sumba, connecting flights to/from Sumba and then the most stunning hotel - Cap Karoso, which is about as good as anywhere we have ever stayed. Google it. Visit. You won't regret it.

This was one of those rare trips when lots of things just went wrong - the hotel in Bali messed up our booking which had Katrina scrambling around for days to find a suitable alternative - eventually (and thankfully) getting us back into the original hotel at the airport.

The connecting flight to Sumba was then cancelled as we arrived at the airport which left Katrina running around for hours, early on a Sunday morning in Melbourne trying to find a hotel at a time when there was a massive conference in Bali that left rooms at an absolute premium. Katrina found us a stunning hotel and room, arranged a driver to assist us and rescheduled our Sumba flight.

Katrina then arranged with Cap Karoso to extend our stay at no extra cost and rearranged our hotel in Bali on our return.

I always say that the mark of a good company is how they handle adversity. Katrina was superb, reassuring us at every step and also finding alternative hotels that matched our needs.

Friends and family have since used World Travel Design and we will continue to book with them - reassuring to know that if something does go wrong I know Katrina will take care of us.
