The 5 Stans - Central Asia - A fantastic and memorable trip with contrasting cultures and scenery. Knowledgeable guides in each Stan giving insight into the past and present lives of people in Central Asia. A good mix of accommodation was included. Highly recommended for the adventurous soul.

Recently completed a 20+ day trek in Nepal.
The team at WEX in Australia were very easy to deal with in booking the trip.
Once in Nepal the experience was extremely good and professional. Not to say we did not have challenges, but each time we did, there was a solution executed that made it all 'just work'. The staff on the ground, the years of experience, and local knowledge combined gave such a good result that provided a safe and enjoyable trip.

Wonderful tour of Morocco with a fabulous group of people. Our local guide was very knowledgeable and patient as we stopped to admire and purchase the many beautiful treasures Morocco has to offer.
We covered a vast range of cities throughout this incredible country. Our guide, Tricia, led us to places we would never have found and she was so much fun to travel with.

KILIMANJARO REMOTE NORTHERN CIRCUIT
Don't attempt this trip unless you know exactly what you're getting yourself into. And be aware that no matter how fit you are, altitude sickness can still strike you down. That's why you MUST use a reputable company like World Expeditions for a trek like this. My husband became ill on Day 3. Our trek leader was able to release a guide and a porter to get him back to Arusha and to hospital. I succumbed to a chest infection 5 days later and couldn't summit. Again, I was issued with a guide to get me safely to the next camp. Each of the 5 people in our group who did climb to the summit had a guide to ensure nothing went wrong. This was not the case for other tourists who attempted the climb. I heard stories of people wandering about alone at the top- disoriented and lost. Some groups didn't provide emergency oxygen. That meant their clients had to be dragged down the mountain, often barely unconscious.
Any travel company can be good when things go to plan. What's important is how they respond when things go wrong. And what they do to minimize the risk. World Expeditions could not have been more professional. If you're determined to climb Kilimanjaro, these are the guys you want to do it with.

I loved the 21 day action packed Madagascar Adventure! It was incredibly well organised and ran very smoothly, despite the complex logistics involved with 4WD vehicles, canoes and canoe crew, cooks, camping gear, mini bus transport and porters. Rynah, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the flora, fauna and people, and did everything to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable trip. The Malagasy people are very friendly, as are the lemurs!

This was my 6th trip with World Expeditions and it totally lived up to the high standard that I have come to expect from this company.

This is the second tour I have completed with World Expeditions. If you enjoy an active trip that includes sites away from the normal touristy places this is for you. Smaller groups with fantastic guides, food was excellent and accommodation very good. I would highly recommend them.
