Travelling north we always try and support the roadhouses as they serve as an important part of WA travel over long distances. As always we stopped at the Wooramel Roadhouse for fuel and breakfast on the go.

For the record We arrived at 10am, but couldn’t ordered anything as I was told ‘they were under the pump and didn’t have time’ (there was us and one other customer?) so I chose from the pre cooked area.

Firstly must add I’m not that fussy and don’t expect 5 star dining ! however this took the cake for the worst / expensive breakfast ever! after paying $40 for 2 bacon & egg muffins and 2 coffees (accept that things are more expensive and if edible that’s fine but!) we left and eagerly opened our breakfast muffins in the car to find them rock hard and cold, they went straight in the bin before we broke a tooth and no I’m no joking. I have no idea when they were made or how long they had been sitting there. But for what we paid we certainly expected something half decent.

This roadhouse used to be great but the lack of customer service and bad food means it won’t be on our list again, which is a shame.

There are plenty of other stops along the way where the food is fresh and the price of fuel is better.

Of course this is just our experience maybe it was a bad day. But I try not to get caught twice.

Terrible Experience – Unfriendly, disrespectful Owner and Poor Quality Food.

I had an awful experience at this place. The owner was incredibly rude and unwelcoming, treating us with an attitude that felt downright disrespectful.
It makes you wonder why someone would run a business if they clearly don’t want to deal with customers.
I asked nicely if I could use the restroom, and he abruptly told me it wasn't for public use, because he clearly didn’t wanna clean it after

On top of that, my partner bought a pie, and it was terrible – she said it was the worst pie she’s ever tasted.
The whole place seemed run down, and it felt like they didn't care about maintaining basic standards, either in service or cleanliness.

I would strongly advise against stopping here. Whether you need a break, food, or even a restroom, this place isn’t worth your time, energy or money.

The roadhouse was so hot inside that the air-conditioners work overtime here. The toilets were clean and very cool. I brought a granola, which was yuck. It tasted like it was made last week. It was disgusting. Customer service was great.

Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but one of the best stops on the Highway. Lovely fella on this own cooking fresh food- cooked a toastie fresh for our son. Coffee excellent. And the shop is awesome. Lots of nick nacks and home made items unique to Wooramel.

Many people travelling seem to forget that there is no supermarket to pop in and get more bread/fresh milk. You wouldn’t walk into a cafe in the city and use their toilets without buying something…..

We had a lovely stay here in our motorhome. The campsite was cute and well-maintained, facilities were very clean and the free breakfast was a lovely touch. Appreciate the vibe of this place.

Immediately the couple running the servo have fantastic customer service. If you want to meet two true blue down to earth aussies then come say hello at the road house. Stay overnight as the rooms are air conditioned and cozy with all creature comforts oh and 98 fuel. And the weather today was Swinging. If you get the chance and buy a coffee or drink and lunch ask if you can see some aussie history out back and get a photo with some old cars

Not good for roadhouse. Am a line haul truck driver and this place is not worth stopping at if you in a roadtrain. Wanted to get some breakfast and because it was school holidays they do not do cooked food. Kitchen closed. Because they told me they would get heaps of people stopping to get cooked meals so they close Kitchen during school holidays. ?. So if yo5drive a truck long distance this is another typical roadhouse that dose not want to take care of truckies. You could however have sandwich for breakfast, goodness knows how old they were. But most truckies would like something a little more substantial than a sandwich. Now I just bypass this roadhouse preferring to go without till next appropriate food establishment.

We always try to support roadhouses. Not this one. Far out - the older lady serving us was the rudest we ever had in 8000km. When asked if they had more fridgemagnets with their emblem the sour answer was no we don't - we don't sell them
Won't stop here again.
