There are powered and unpowered sites here with water, dump site, showers a d toilets. Pay at info centre in town. Only available when parks are full or when your van is over 22' as parks can't take you.

Wow they have put in so much effort to make this overflow camping good. New power and water. Plenty of them and brand new facilities.

Used as overflow camping which we as volunteers used. Despite being there for the towns wonderful festival council was very poor in creating a nice atmosphere, in fact gave the impression that we were not really wanted there. Which is a pity given the the massive injection of funds into the local community.

Stayed here during Winston’s Outback Festival. Upgraded from unpowered to powered last minute, which was great. Unfortunately camping area/middle of racecourse area was filled with bindies. Not one bit of grass and we ended up throwing out our rubber matting because they were covered with bindies. Dog found relief in small piles of hay on the ground.
