Great place to visit for a whole family. Kids really love to see different kinds of animals from wild life to farm. A peaceful and calm atmosphere to feel when visiting this place. We will plan to camp if we have a chance.

Awesome country zoo with friendly staff and engaging animals. Lots to see - from iconic Tassie devils, quolls, fish and snakes to Australian birds and imported legends. The capybara experience made Miss 15s birthday! Too busy giggling at his hair standing on and to grab a photo. Scenic drive to get there and bubbling creek through the site so relaxing. Bring your own picnic or enjoy the cafe! We will be back!

Perfect place to pull up and stop for a few nights. Great amenities, nice and clean however some portable toilets down by the river would be nice (it's a bit of a walk to the loos...not helpful when you're busting!!) ?

The resident river goose is a ripper, we named him Gary!!

We spotted plenty of pademelons, bird life, ducks, Gary and we even saw 2 platypus just before dusk!

So lucky to live on the NW of Tassie and visit this stunning place easily! I recently took our youngest child and he absolutely loved it. We had such a beautiful day and were greeted with such lovely friendly service. We had lunch from the Cafe before leaving and oh my gosh the salad with added chicken was so mouth watering! Super happy with the hot chips too! So good! Being able to walk around in the kangaroo enclosure and hand feed them is always an absolute highlight. Can’t wait to come back again!

It is a very exotic wildlife park. Many different creatures. All alive and energetic. We watched the Tassie Devils rip a carcass apart, fed a bunch of very tame kangaroos, and pet emus.

It had rained so it was a little muddy but it did not change our opinion.
