Ben is an outstanding wine legend. He not only met our expectations but exceeded them. Six of us ventured from Brisbane to the Barossa Valley for 4xdays to celebrate milestone birthdays and anniversaries. He provided a true custom tour, taking us to the wineries we wanted to visit, then surprised us with some unique wine experiences to make the occasion extra special and took us to some boutique vineyards we’d never heard of. It was perfect.

His recommendations were brilliant, his knowledge amazing, his stories and professionalism fantastic. We loved his flexibility and ability to find alternative places to visit in an instant. When we wanted a brief break from wine and suggested a gin brewery instead of the beer brewery, or we needed a good strong coffee before we hit those early morning wine tastings, he delivered every time.

We love our Barossa Shiraz, now I’m a fan of Shiraz Gin too. Thanks Ben!

Ben picked us up from the airport in Adelaide, drove us around the Barossa all weekend, including our dinner outings, then returned us to Adelaide for our flights home. He booked all our meals, taking the stress and hassle out of our trip. His service was above and beyond the norm. Totally brilliant.

Highlights during our trip that Ben surprised us with were a private tour at Henschke, behind the scenes visits and meeting the wine makers at Gibson and Izway Wines, and an amazing tasting experience at Yalumba.

I can’t stop talking about our trip. Ben certainly made it memorable.

My wife and I were guided by Ben for breakfast with the kangaroos. He is a delightful and amazingly knowledgable fellow and host. With geology degrees and years of experience in the food and wine industries there wasn’t any subject we could ask about Barossa’s history, wildlife, vineyards, etc., which Ben didn’t have detailed insights. And he is a joy of a human being. We highly recommend Ben for any excursion in the Barossa area.
