The facilities are dirty.

The kettle is disgusting, white kettle but inside is brown color and looks Mouldy. The inside wardrobe are dusty, you can see it had been long time no one wipe the inside.

Inside of the kitchen cabinet is dirty as well. The quilt is dirty and yellow!!! Some cigarette butts left outside the balcony.

They provide car park but many of them are reserved. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

You better buy some toilet paper and tissue for yourself cause they won’t prepare for you!

We booked for 7 nights and 3people but they only provide you 1 roll of toilet paper, no tissue, no shower gel, no shampoo.

The review of booking is good, but you better check the comment from google review which is more true!

Should have read reviews first. We arrived a little early but the staff said room is ready, opened the door and it smelled. No toilet paper, no tea towels, no complimentary sugar or teabags. Tv was a hassle had to try at least 5 minutes every time you wanted to watch it. Had to ask for another garbage bin liner. The doona cover smelt of smoke.

I don't know where to start.Am actually very very very upset writing this review.I refused to shower here .Unfortunately on arrival after an 8 hr drive I rushed to the toilet but the seat had dome public hair and even on the toilet floor. Then there was only one top sheet on the bed with no quilt given its winter.Checked in the wardrobe and there was a smelly blood stained quilt. On top of this we wake up to a power cut.No electricity from 9am to 4pm.Could not straighten my daughter's hair or charge our phones!!.I asked the receptionist male if they knew about the power cut he said they didn't know and that they had only found out yesterday morning, but they let us go ahead and book a room knowing about the power cut. Please save yourselves your money, the anxiety and stress.I was upset that pple could treat others like this. This is Australia I don't know who is running this place Fair Trading needs to know about this place and shut it down. Its daylight robbery!!.

Convenient locations. Near shops and little cafes. Pleasant stretch of beach out front. The unit needs some updating including better stove , dishes , couch. TV worked fine for casting. Pls replace the plunger coffee pot. Two level place. Two balconies. View towards pool and spa pool from kitchen window. Couldn’t get the AC/heater inverter to work in the living room. The one in the bedroom works, but has a rattle . Blankets and light quilt could use a good cleaning pls. We checked in after hours, and got in easily enough. We were there for the Gold Coast Marathon. Would have been more convenient if we had 2 separate keys etc (but we didn’t get around to asking if available). Elevator needs work - with the doors sometimes opening and closing 4 or 5 times before going up. Parking garage was convenient . Did not see any Welcome Pack as per description in the paper given to us. No milk for the first night for example. There were some old packs of coffee and tea on the counter. Laundry machine looks new. Shower was fine and a little bottle of shampoo/conditioner was provided. We could hear other rooms from time to time but not noisy. I would like to see a better lock on the door aside from the simple door knob one. In fact, a staff member started walking in one day without knocking - which was improper. He didn’t knock but mumbled something about thinking we had not checked in (yet we had checked in the night before). I I think I read about that problem in another review below. Best a guest’s privacy and security is assured pls. Seemed very weird…no knocking and all. We had booked late for the Gold Coast marathon… not sure if we would book again… good for a quick average stay I suppose. There was a double bed, and 2 single beds and a small sofa. The 2 single beds are jammed in at the top of the stairs, in the room next to the bedroom. We stayed for 2 nights.

Had holiday for 7 nights to Gold Coast and booked this place did see the reviews but thought I’d give them the benefit of the doubt which I regretted ||Hallways stunk of weed the entire time and was incredibly stuffy |Room looked clean apon first look but didn’t take long to find out it wasn’t, insides of cupboards are all filthy. Walls all have marks on them, blinds and all broken and don’t close properly, oven fan sounds like a tractor and doesn’t work properly ||There was rubbish and filth under the couch and bed hasn’t been cleaned in months bathroom had mould from moisture that hasn’t been cleaned ||Sheets also had sand in them which we had To clean out ourselves quilt cover was also stained and looked terrible |also was only given half a roll of toilet paper for 7 nights ||Both me and my partner have red rashes that have mysteriously popped up since staying here as well

Where do I start.
If we had somewhere else to stay we would have left, we were volunteering for the 3 days.

Black mould on the roof in the bathroom, stained quilt and foot prints on the sheets, cockroaches alive, couches stained & covered with a cover, hair under the sheets, and sheets were yellow in colour, pillows & blankets we’re disgusting and the main bedroom door didn’t close.

When we contacted the hotel, they gave us an excuse that the linen is steam cleaned, the hotel is treated every 6 months so you will find dead bugs and the bathroom had been treated and is stained from previous people not opening the window when having a shower.

When we got back to the room, they had treated the bathroom and tried to air it out and never locked the bedroom door and never told us they did this and the treatment affected our allergies.

We contacted the hotel again to be moved from the room and to ask why they never notified us that they treated the bathroom when in there first message it was only stains and they never bothered to respond to us and we still haven’t heard from them to apologise or offer a refund for the inconveniences.

I was definitely a little disappointed with my stay at Windsurfer Resort. The room my partner and I stayed in had clearly been recently painted and the room hadn't been aired (the smell was overbearing when we walked in). The bathroom door didn't close due to the paint work and it was already peeling off due to it sticking with the door jam. For the location, I couldn't fault it. Being in a quiet area was nice considering Schoolies was on. The service was average as every time I went to see reception, it was closed even in the middle of the day. Upon check out, the receptionist was confused that I was checking out, even after seeing me drive my car out of the garage. Would I stay here again, most probably not but is a good place for a cheap stay on the Gold Coast
