We had a terrific room and it overlooked the river and we could see the speedboat racing. It was quite comfortable sitting on the Veranda looking out at the Boat. and it was just a short walk to the main street which was quite good. There’s lots of shops that are quite interesting if you’re just coming past and went for a walk down the main street itself. It is quite good staying at the motel was nice and comfortable and thank you to the staff for looking after us from michael.

I rang Windsor Terrace Motel and was booked into Windsor Motor Inn across the road in Room16.

When i entered the room i found it to be disgustingly sub standard with the following issues:

1. The room had not been cleaned properly there food scraps on the bed side table under the edge of the bed on 2 sides.
2. The microwave was dirty with red sauce left on the glass rotary plate.
3. The bed blanket had many stains on it.
4. The shower did not work properly, the hot water tap spindle screwed out of the wall when you turned the tap and there was not sufficient flow to have a shower.
5. The carpet (tiles) had what i would call disgusting stains and loose food or dirt on it.
6. Both pelmet bed lights were inoperable
7. There were white streaks on the back of the bathroom door.

Overall this place was unhygienic and should be condemned. The owners should be fined.

I recently stayed at Windsor Terrace Motel and had a fantastic experience. The location is quiet and convenient, with easy-access parking. I enjoyed a lovely river view from the balcony, which was a nice touch.

In terms of pricing, I found it to be very reasonable compared to other motels in the area—definitely the best value for the price! The beds were comfortable, and I appreciated the coin-operated laundry facilities. Free Wi-Fi and hot water were also a plus.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the motel is very close to cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets, making it easy to explore the area. I will definitely be staying there again!

Room was dirty and poorly maintained. The smell of mould in bathroom was very unpleasant. No toaster and only 2 cups supplied for 5 people. No towels in room on arrival. Overall and very unpleasant experience and would not recommend. Also had to pay a $50 deposit on arrival.

Excellent value for money - the bed was so comfortable - one of the things I usually get disappointed with when staying in motels/hotels. Very, very clean room, awesome view of the river, and walking distance to everything.

Dirtiest place I’ve ever had the misfortune to stay in. Carpet was so bad I wouldn’t walk on it with bare feet and the shower hadn’t had a clean in months. We thought we were staying in the building pictured but on arrival was told to cross the road and stay in a very run down motel because we didn’t ask for the water view. Looking at the trash in the car park it seemed as if this place was used as emergency accommodation for people in desperate need. One of which was cooking dinner on a little gas stove in the carpark. I feel sorry for them to have to stay there for any length of time.

I was worried to stay. I had read the reviews. I found reception staff friendly. The room was clean, sheets were fresh. The shower was hot. The view was great. I have no complaints.

Good motel, on the water and easy walk to main street of Windsor and all the tourist shops.
Don't go to motel section over the road!
