The food in this pub style casual dining is quite unique we topped up our order twice. The eggplants is too sweet and on deep fried side which isn’t my liking. I like all of others we had tonight. The waitress provided attentive and great service.

My wife and I dined at Wilma for dinner and opted for the set menu – I believe it was around eight dishes. My wife is gluten-free, and the kitchen kindly adjusted some dishes to accommodate her.

While I appreciate bold flavours, I found many of the dishes quite oily, which felt a bit overwhelming by the end of the meal. This was especially noticeable with the gluten-free alternatives, like the rice and egg dish. The calamari was tough and chewy, and the broccoli was also heavy on the oil.

That said, the highlight of the night was the lamb cutlet – perfectly spiced, lean, and full of flavour.

The atmosphere was fantastic, and the front-of-house staff were excellent. The wine menu was also impressive, which added to the experience.

Overall, it was a mixed experience. Maybe the oil-heavy dishes are just a matter of personal taste, but I left feeling like it could have been more balanced.

Jess, our waitress was amazing. Her ability to make us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant was brilliant. We chose the 'Just Feed Me' from the menu and thoroughly enjoyed the dishes. We will be back with family and friends. 5 stars will deserved!

I'm honestly really confused as to how Wilma has such high ratings. We came expecting a decent meal due to the rating, but it was a very average experience. Service was friendly when they arrived, but we sat unattended for quite some time and even table water took a while to arrive. All of this could be overlooked if the food was good but it unfortunately wasn't - the food was quite oily with one dimensional flavours as others have mentioned. The mains were worse than the entrees though - the fish was dry and bland, and the crispy noodles soggy with a sickly soy sauce and scallops which didn't taste fresh. I wouldn't recommend or return

My husband and I had dinner at Wilma for first time for our wedding anniversary and we enjoyed our experience very much. Sophie provided exceptional service and even offered us a special drink and treats on the house to celebrate the occasion. The food was beautifully presented and delicious, especially the fresh oysters and kingfish sashimi. We will definitely come back again. Thanks Wilma and Sophie for the wonderful evening!
