We stayed here for 3 nights and were very glad we chose to stay in Willunga and not Mclarenvale. The town is really pretty with well preserved historical buildings and some great pubs, cafes and restaurants. ||Willunga House has been beautifully renovated and we were lucky to have a very large front room looking onto the heritage garden. We had a modern ensuite bathroom and the room was immaculately clean and freshly decorated. Breakfast was in a glassed sunroom looking onto the rear garden and our hosts were very friendly and professional.||We were given total privacy and came and went as if it were our own house. ||I thoroughly recommend a stay here if you want some luxury, quiet relaxation and a very convenient location near the High St, golf course, walking trails and wineries. A truly beautiful place!

Willunga house is a brilliant B&B, simple as that!...
Nick was fantastic looking after us this weekend for our wedding anniversary. Friendly, organised, well looked after and ran, the amenities are clean and very comfortable.
Breakfast was absolutely beautiful and Nick was more than happy to tend to any request we had, even asking about what our plans were and if he could assist.
With all this and only about a 6min drive from Mclaren Vale's main St, I highly recommend staying here.

My wife and I stayed one night at Willunga House, and were impressed by its comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality. We stayed in the ground floor ensuite room, which was spacious and quiet. The upstairs shared common area was very comfortable, and a great place to enjoy some delicious McLaren Vale wine while listening to music or playing a game. And breakfast the next morning was delicious. The property is also a close walk to the shops, restaurants, and cellar doors in Willunga. I'd highly recommend this B&B.

We stayed two nights at Willunga House. Nick the owner was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was cooked and served to us in the dining room which has a lovely garden outlook. The house itself is an 1850 building which is tastefully and authentically decorated and scrupulously clean. It is well located being almost in town but very quiet. Easy access to all that this wonderful wine region has to offer. My only complaint is the bed-it was a bit hard for my liking but I did have a good nights sleep.

Willunga House is a beautiful large "White House" situated in the main street of Willunga. We enjoyed our short stay and Nick the host was very helpful and friendly. We had a private bathroom directly across the hall from our cosy bedroom. Being a B & B, breakfast (continental & cooked) was served in a small dining room overlooking a leafy backyard. There is also a swimming pool with sun lounges to one side. There are various cafes and restaurants within walking distance of the house with beaches and vineyards only a short drive away.

This wonderful historic house, after much research, was the perfect spot and location for my small group of wine loving people for my first Vino4u Wine tour of McLaren Vale. We were a group of 4 couples and each had their own room and bathroom. Great relaxing area upstairs with lounge out to balcony and small but functional kitchen. Our Host, Nick supplied us with a beautiful breakfast, which we prepared ourselves, with the local produce, beautiful poached fruits, Paris Farm Yoghurt and fresh fruit and bread from the Farmers Market right across the street.There was eggs. smoked salmon, bacon, plenty to keep us going for a day of exploring this amazing area and wine tasting at the local wineries.I had a Chef come cook for us on the last night and Nick and his wife were very accommodating supplying him with extras from their own kitchen where needed.||It's so close to the heart of McLaren Vale only 10 mins, and there are some beautiful places to eat at night, if you don't want to cook. Fino's, an award winning restaurant which is walking distance away for high end restaurant quality and in the other direction the very quirky and famous Russell's Pizza for some-thing casual and fun, also walking distance.||I will be back with another group before too long. Thanks Nick for your hospitality!

Had a great weekend in McLaren Vale based at Willunga. Lovely property, character, beautifully maintained. Nick is helpful and friendly but not in your face. Shared lounge upstairs with a great fire -lovely for relaxing with a glass of red after dinner. Great location close to the farmer's market and Fino's for dinner. Yummy breakfast with poached local fruit and yogurt, yellow eggs with bacon or smoked salmon. And sheridan linen and towels.

The room was lovely and warm and there was a bath tub, great as we riding our bikes so it was nice to soak in after riding up the Willunga hill! Nick the owner was friendly and cooked us breakfast, set the fire for us to use and suggested some nice wineries. The house its self is amazing, nice garden too. Thanks for a great stay 🙂
