What a beautiful little Hotel restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing. 10 dishes at our table and they were all perfect, from the seafood platter to the pasta. Couldn't fault the meals at all. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

What a lovely, charming and traditional pub! Staff were friendly, food was tasty and they provided great vegetarian and vegan options. Vegan garlic bread was fab! Would highly recommend and would definitely make the trip back down South again for a meal.

We went there for a lunch date and were pleasantly surprised. Jamie the FOH gentleman was lovely and welcoming, his service was fantastic. The wine list was decent and fairly priced. The menu had a lot of gluten free options which unfortunately I need … we both ordered the king Neptune dish (steak with seafood) at $38 each it did not disappoint. I feel like I had a seafood platter with steak and veggies with a delicious garlic sauce. compliments to the chef - my husband doesn’t like greens and he said they were perfectly cooked and ate the whole lot. Our steaks were spot on. Value for money, great little regional pub with an amazing menu and great service.

Absolutely loved this place! Food was fantastic (lamb shanks). Atmosphere was relaxing and warm surroundings. Friendly staff and approachable. Ate outside was great. Wife enjoyed the chicken schnitzel.

Great service and a nice spot to spend a sunny Saturday.
We enjoyed lunch in the beer garden under the veranda. Everyone working at the hotel was super nice and accommodating. I had the Godfather chicken schnitzel which was yummy and a good size portion. Washed it down with a local brew, Piggy in the Middle Session ale by South Coast Brewing, and it was a great visit!

Nice pub, friendly staff, and cheap food, but ... easily the worst chicken Schnitty ($19) I've ever had, and I've had a few, and the beef no better ($21), awful crumb, and the chips! you have to almost try hard to make them so bad, and sauce was salty yuckiness ... I'm assuming the freezer and deep frier gets a good workout here ... the only redemption - good local wine, old fashioned mark up, and some nice beer ... maybe charge a bit more and improve the food quality?

We have been going to the Middle Pub for years but never thought to review it.

Very extensive menu but can’t go past the schnittys and the array of toppings, great quality and served with veggies or salad and chips.

The whole team are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.

Very friendly service. Reasonable prices. Good atmosphere with locals. We had a lamb shank and a lamb roast of the day, both of which were good. A little more spice options for the roast would be my only suggestion.
