We worked with Kate at Willow Events for our wedding setup, ceremony and reception on Saturday 2 December 2023.

Every aspect of the experience was positive. Communication in the months and weeks leading up to the event was clear, punctual, supportive and informative. Kate went above and beyond to bring our vision to life and ensure our special day was perfect.

Working with Kate alleviated stress from us on the day. Kate was adaptive to requests and flexible with timings and changes. The ceremony garden layout and reception venue space was styled to meet our needs and the attention to detail was impeccable.

Kate at Willow Events was an absolute God send. We had her on board early to assist with styling and planning for our wedding and she nailed absolutely everything. She made everything so easy for us and completely took the stress out of planning the wedding. The flowers she arranged were stunning and our wedding was styled and set up perfectly. My wife and I hired Kate to help us organise our DIY wedding. Her organisation and communication skills were exemplary and her calm yet enthusiastic nature made us relax and really reduced the natural wedding stress! Our friends and family commented on how amazing Kate was in helping us put together such a brilliant day and how she managed on the day hiccups without us even knowing that they had happened. We really felt like Kate genuinely cared about us and our event and her passion for people and her job was evident.
I loved working with Kate so much that I hired Willow Events for a surprise picnic for our anniversary. My partner and I (enter the clueless wedding novices) chose Willow Events to help plan an unconventional micro wedding from interstate - under circumstances where one of us had never visited and the other had not visited Hobart in more than ten years.

The lovely Kate was an absolute life saver at every step (including many we were oblivious to) of the way. The way she manoeuvred her magic around a couple of indecisive, anxious, late-to-the-party (yes we were) millennials was truly something MONA-esque. From her immaculate planning and communication throughout, to her calm and sparkly nature Kate made our beautiful day something we’d want to relive over and over again. My husband (heyo!) and I are considering moving to Hobart just so we can make up events to experience Kate’s magic again - yes she is THAT good.

We came across Willow Events after our pre-booked plan A unfortunately came down with Covid the night before our baby shower. We found Kate on Instagram and she got back to us straight away, coming to our rescue! She had around 38 hours to bring something together for us. My husband and I turned up to our baby shower, to our surprise, Kate had arrived an hour before set up a beautiful easel with a sign and gorgeous balloons! There were even balloon decorations around the venue, she went above and beyond. What Kate created couldn’t have been more perfect, we are truly grateful for her expertise and amazing service. It really made our day so special. Thank you so much Kate!!!
