Wildlife Safari went above and beyond to ensure our honeymoon in Mauritius was an unforgettable experience. Every detail was perfect, from being met at the airport by a welcoming guide, to our wonderful accommodation, to all the amazing day trips we enjoyed (including safari quad biking and catamaran cruising). Wildlife Safari’s knowledge and expertise allowed us to have an incredible holiday without any stress, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to others looking to experience the same.

I have just returned from a fantastic experience of India, organised by Terri at Wildlife Safari. I saw and learned far more than I expected, each day having had specialised transport and guides who were very knowledgeable about their areas and subjects. The accommodation was outstanding, our transport clean, reliable and punctual and all organised down to the last detail. It was a truly hassle free holiday and learning experience

We booked our honeymoon to Sri Lanka for October 2017 with Wildlife Safari. It was absolutely fantastic. Terri was great at helping us with the itinerary, taking our preferences into account to organise something perfect for us.

The hotels we stayed in were incredible. They were perfect for our honeymoon, and we had great service at each one. Our driver was so knowledgable about all the areas we stayed in and was more than happy to point out interesting things in the area and stop to get a coconut and a photo on the side of the road. We knew we were always in safe hands, and were just able to relax and enjoy the beautiful country!

The service we received was amazing. Would definitely recommend Wildlife Safari!

Although I was born in Sri Lanka, it had been 24 years since I last visited the country. When I made the decision to go back in December with my family - wife and 2 kids, I was unsure what to really expect, given that I have been away for so long. I got introduced to Wildlife Safari, Perth through a colleague who suggested that I speak to them about a custom tour that we could incorporate into our stay.

On speaking to them I was amazed at their knowledge of the country. We wanted something specific to our needs in breaking our trip up into 2 separate tours. We had our own thoughts but on further discussion with them we decided to follow what they suggested.

We were picked up at our hotel by one of their guides. First up was Pinnawala (elephant orphanage), followed by Kandy and then 2 nights at Hunas Falls. Upon arrival at the hotel we were met and greeted by the manager of the hotel who assured of his commitment to service, as we had booked through Wildlife Safari. And true to his word the place was amazing, the beauty unparalleled and service was just incredible. We then visited Dambulla and Sigiriya followed by a stay at Amaya Lodge we experienced a similar service experience. The guide who accompanied us on the tour was just fantastic. He was extremely courteous, very knowledgeable and very flexible with our needs given that we were traveling with him for 3 days.

On a second tour we went to the South of Sri Lanka and stayed a beach resort - The Heritance in Ahungalla. Here again we were picked at our hotel by the guide who accompanied us down for 3 days. Besides being a great hotel the service we experienced by the guide was just fantastic.

So the suggestions by Wildlife Safari was spot on and their service and attention to detail made the trip the trip that much more special and memorable

We have toured with Wildlife Safari three time now. Twice to Africa and once to Sri Lanka. All have been memorable and really well organised.
However our last trip, September 2017 to Botswana, Namibia and South Africa was exceptional. Every connection, camp, hotel, on the ground guide, greeting agent just appeared on time, on que as we moved through the trip of a life time. The trip was great. The service exceptional

Our son decided to be married in Cape Town earlier this year.
As we had never ventured there before we left our travel arrangements to the staff at Wildlife Safari. We indicated we wished to go to Victoria Falls, go on Safari and of course Cape Town.
Our expectations were exceeded by the raw natural beauty of each destination. Our Safari in Chobe was outstanding.
Accomodation at each destination was excellent.
The staff at Wildlife Safari organised everything and were easily accessible.
It certainly was a trip of a lifetime with everything running smoothly and amazing memories.

Thanks Wildlife Safari.

Buyer beware!!

I wanted to see the great migration at the end of August. That was my instruction. My Amex Centurion Relationship Manager (who is amazing) gave this instruction to their preferred supplier Wildlife Safari (Perth). At around $1650 AUD per night (all inclusive), we both expected Wildlife would figure out the appropriate location, after all they are the experts.

Not the case. Instead they sent me to the Western Serengeti, which gets the migration much earlier in the year and has never had the migration in August. Apparently, this is common knowledge throughout Africa and every person I told this to in the travel industry in Africa was appalled at Wildlife Safari.

Amex couldn’t persuade them to change the booking, so I called Wildlife. I asked if the hotel chain could swap me from their luxury western camp to their northern camp. After all, it was closer to where my flights landed and cheaper. Only the accommodation would need to be changed. No they wouldn’t. Amex pushed and finally Wildlife re-quoted. They wanted me to pay an additional $3150 per night to make the change, so $4800 per night in total. Which is REALLY overpriced.

So, disappointed I went to the Serengeti knowing that I’d miss my lifelong dream of seeing the migration by a few hundred kilometres.

I arrived at the Serengeti airport and I met my game guide. He asked me what I wanted to see, deflated I told him. He was shocked and disgusted. He then spoke to his manager who immediately swapped me to the northern camp at no additional charge. Later the camp manager told me he hadn’t been contacted by the tour company and he was very disappointed with the tour company.

The good news is that the hotel chain, Serena, was exceptional in every way and saved the day. Please see my review on the Serengeti Serena camps. Having now visited 4 of their properties I highly recommend them. As a side note, I’ve been travelling for over 6 months mostly 5 star and as a rule I don’t write reviews unless it is either exceptional or appalling.

We have recently returned from an African Safari with our Grandsons.
Our travel agent at American Express used Wildlife Safari to make our reservations and could not have used a more obliging company.
All our guides were excellent in Botswana, Kenya and Tanzania and went out of their way to make our trip hassle free especially Fred in Nairobi who couldn’t do enough for us including organising a private charter for us at company cost when a flight was changed at the last minute which would have prevented us doing planned activities, we appreciated this so much.
I have already recommended your company to friends and would like to thank the company very much for making our Safari all we hoped for especially as we wanted it to be a memorable experience for our grandsons.
Thankyou so much
Regards
