We wanted to see the West MacDonnell Ranges and were mindful there was so much to absorb that we chose to take a tour not self-drive. We also wanted to go at our pace and not be unnecessarily hurried. Wild Honey Travels with owner/operator Kimberley Morgan was the perfect solution.
Kimberley did more than take us on a tour – it was an adventure where she freely shared her knowledge of country, plants and animals, geology, and outstanding locations. Importantly she welcomed our questions, answering those about indigenous peoples with utmost respect.
Kimberley pays attention to detail – from the admin tasks of email exchanges over several months, to receipting payment and supplying a contract to the practical guidance on the day. She had reference booklets to identify plants, and I am sure carried the emergency necessaries in her ever-present backpack. When we came to taking a swim in the Ormiston Gorge, surprisingly, she produced 2 flotation noodles! Kimberley was a great conversationalist, she was courteous and punctual, and her driving exemplary.
We highly recommend Wild Honey Travels for exploring the Red Centre.
Thank you, Kimberley....Jann and Wes

In June, I travelled with Kimberley to Chambers Pillar and the edge of the Simpson Desert. It was an amazing day and Kimberley customised the tour to my interests (she is a good listener). We had many places to ourselves and we were able to really appreciate the beautiful landscapes, rock formations including Castle Rock and Chambers Pillar, desert plants, flowers and wildlife as well as the fascinating Ewaninga Rock Carvings Conservation Reserve. Kimberley is extremely well-informed and culturally knowledgable but also fun and she shared her knowledge in a sensitive and enjoyable manner. We had some wonderful conversations during the day. I highly recommend Kimberley's Wild Honey tours in stunning Central Australia.

We were a group of 4 men who did two days of touring with Kimberley. The first day to East McDonald ranges and the second day to West McDonald ranges. Both days were amazing. Kimberley has an amazing knowledge of local Fauna, Flora, and culture. She is an absolute pleasure to be with and very caring about the group. She took us in her 4WD to places we would never have gone ourselves and the days were amazing. I highly recommend Kimberley for any private tours in Alice Springs.

We cannot speak highly enough of Kimberley and Wild Honey Travels. Not only did she arrange wonderful and informative tours for us, but her local knowledge of the landscape, plants and animals added a richness that we have not often experienced with other operators. She was also kind enough to allow us to postpose our tours for 6 months without penalty, for which we were enormously grateful. It’s a shame that the maximum rating we can give is 5 stars. She deserves 6!

Kimberly (owner/guide) put together 2 half day tours for our family while we were in Alice Springs. With a 10 & 12 year old we felt full days might be too much. As it turned out to be some of the hottest days it was a good call. This grandma & grandpa never could have taught them so much in so little time. Kimberly, we loved spending the time with you & Mick.
