I completed one of Wild Africa 9-day safari through home Arusha, Tarangire, North & East Serengeti and Ngorongoro.

The safari was part long road trips to accommodation and part ambling game drives. We spend one day travelling 404km in 10hrs, which was tiring for the more elder members of our group. On another day, two of us painfully bumped heads during a rapid drive down a rutted road to reach our camp for the evening.

The Arusha hotel and Karibau camps booked exceeded my expectations. The driver from African Scenic Safaris, that WA also arranged, was knowledgeable on wildlife and did his best getting us to places given the time constraints.

Make sure you understand the road distances and travel times of a safari itinerary before committing.

What a great trip, 5 weeks, 4 countries, 11 African flights including 3 safari air charters, 5 safari lodges and much more all after first booking to travel in 2020 and finally getting there in 2024. Robert stood by us after having to cancel twice. He did a great job arranging a rather intricate itinerary to suite our requirements. The Wild Africa Travel Company did a fantastic job finding us a trip to the Okavango in Botswana that matched our need to be in nature, seeing animals. Everything was organised in a timely way and the whole trip went smoothly. We stayed at Oddballs' Camp after flying in a small plane... a wonderful experience on its own! Two of the nights were in the fixed tents at the camp and then two nights in the bush with just our guide and one other. An experience of a lifetime doing walking safaris and mokoro rides to observe animal behaviour in a peaceful environment. Although described as a budget safari, it was far from budget if you love nature and the great outdoors.

We have just returned from visiting sth Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana Namibia, a 4 week trip. On short notice we gave Rob details of where we wanted to visit with a mix of fly in destinations.
The trip was fantastic everything went smoothly we did a heap of game drives saw heaps of animals all guides where excellent and so was the accommodation. Botswana Chobe Game Park was our favorite we stayed at Bakwena lodge which was so good, food, staff, game drives, boat trips, excellent.
