We booked our tour 8 months ago, whale watching has always been on our bucket list.
We were picked up at our motel at the exact time we were told.
We were greeted by very friendly staff, the boat was clean & comfortable. The drinks were at a good price, afternoon tea was nice. The whales were so amazing to watch, they really put on a show for us, the captain was very knowledgeable. I was a bit cold when the boat was moving, one of the staff members offered me a blanket, how cool was that? Just incredible service. It’s a day we will never ever forget. Dinner was served on our way back in & it was delicious.

Brilliant! Loved it!
The staff were amazing, the boat is the perfect size and we got to see heaps of whales. We got to see natural behaviours of mums teaching their babies how to survive once they go South. The commentary was great and the microphone to hear the whale sounds was fascinating. Thanks for spoiling us with morning tea and lunch!
So we'll organised, don't change a thing!

One of the best whale watching tours ever. Fantastic vantage points from all over the boat. Morning tea and lunch were lovely and the bar service was excellent.

The fact that you had not only a toilet, but a disabled toilet, blew my grandmother’s mind and is really appreciated.

The captain and tour guide were very knowledgeable and gave a lot of interesting facts during the tour.

Will definitely book again next time I’m up in QLD!

What a fantastic day with these wonderful creatures. We were blessed that we had a family of whales come and spend over an hour with us. Such amazing creatures and it was just perfect. The crew and staff at Whalesong were great and supplied delicious morning tea and lunch. We’ll be back for another anmzing experience with you.

We spent a week in beautiful Hervey Bay and went on Whalesong for 2 wonderful morning cruises, the weather was perfect and the whales even better, they came right up to the boat to say Hello to us on both days, so doubly blessed.
Thank you to our captain Andrew who has a wealth of knowledge to share about the beautiful humpback whales, and also all of the crew onboard who make it such a wonderful day out, and also Sarah in the office.
If you are going to visit Hervey Bay to go whale watching we can highly recommend Whalesong, it really is a wonderful and memorable day, and hopefully you get lots of photos like we did.

A spectacular afternoon whale watching with Whalesong. The lovely crew of Jamie, Celine and the captain were so friendly, professional and knowledgable.
We saw loads of whales including a “teenager” who spent ages playing and showing off around the ship - so close we could look him in the eye - a truly magical experience.
Food was nice too - tea delivered by the crew and plenty of comfy spots on board for everyone. An Unforgettable day

The most memorable and emotional experience of my life! Whalesong cruises are phenomenal. We saw so many whales, the captain really knows what he's looking for on the water! Whole team is super friendly, passionate about their jobs and full of knowledge to share. Hearing the whale sounds through the hydrophone was amazing. To top it off, we had three whales (including a calf) come right up to the boat!! Best experience ever. Highly recommend this brilliant company. Refreshments and food included, and a full five hours on the boat (morning sail time). Suggest booking with them direct, too.

We had an incredible afternoon whale watching experience with Whalesong. Saw soooo many whales, and they were so close to the boat - actually cried tears of joy at their majesty, playfulfness, beauty … it really was a once in a lifetime experience. Highly recommend this tour company - very knowledgeable, wonderful staff (special shout out to the beautiful ‘Red Rocket’ Jamie for her enthusiasm, passion, whale knowledge and expertise at involving the kids on board!). Nice sized boat and plenty of room for guests to move to different parts of the boat to follow the whales’ movements. Food was not fancy, but fresh, ample and delicious. Drinks were reasonable priced, and thankfully no ‘hard sell’ of merchandise/photos that you get with larger commercial endeavors. And did I mention - so many whales! Loved every minute and will be booking a return visit very soon. The photos don’t do the experience justice!
