Exceptional value and attention to detail. We were blown away by the friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure our table of 14 had a great evening. The pub was extremely busy and even the owner took the time to come over and say hi! I had the scotch fillet which was cooked to perfection. Others on the table enjoyed curries, burgers, seafood and a Thai salad. All delicious! The crunchy chips were also a nice touch for both adults and kids! Thanks Westernport for your excellent hospitality, will be back.

Our family and I dined at the bistro and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. Really good pub grub and decent size serving too! The steak was the biggest surprised - really nicely cooked - asked for medium rare and got an amazing cooked steak. Would definitely come back.

I just ate the best fish meal I have ever had! It was sesame encrusted salmon served with edamame and other vegetables. It was cooked to perfection, and the combination of flavours was superb. I finished every last crumb, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Also, the staff were lovely and very friendly. I have never been here before, but I couldn't recommend it more highly.

Location is gorgeous, overlooking the bridge connecting san remo to the island. Hotel had a slight family/locals vibe but their kids area was a bit average.
The food took a while to come out but it was still tasty and the people working there were lovely! Very hospitable and had good energy.

We stopped by for a meal and decided to order two kids’ meals (as we weren’t very hungry) along with a standard meal. While ordering through the QR code, there was no mention that kids’ meals were only available for children.

When our food arrived, the waitress, in a cold tone, told us that they do not serve kids’ meals to adults. I felt like pointing out that this wasn’t stated anywhere on the menu, but instead, my mum explained that we simply wanted a smaller portion. The waitress shrugged and walked away without another word.

We also noticed that she didn’t provide us with cutlery, despite other tables receiving it from the staff rather than having to get it themselves.

While this wasn’t an outright terrible experience, we felt an unwelcoming attitude from the moment we walked in. Hopefully, the staff member learns to be a bit kinder.

Visited on Friday and ordered from the sports bar as the bistro had just closed. Although the wait was a bit long for our meals( there were 7 of us) but the food more than made up for it. It was very well presented we had bangers and mash and it was absolutely delicious. The sausages were huge the mash creamy and the veges were perfectly steamed. The side dishes of bowls of chips was huge served with sauce and gravy. Extra bowl of veges and salad were also cooked perfect the salad was fresh and tasty with a delicious dressing. The chicken Parma and pizza were also yum. Would I recommend this place yep I would. It was fairly quiet at the time we ate but we were glad we stopped here. We did go and thank the chef personally for our delicious lunch. It’s always nice to do that as I’m sure cooking in these environments isn’t easy and it takes just a few seconds to say thankyou and make somebody else’s day a little worthwhile. 🙂

We had a reservation and ordered drinks and meals, and while the staff were friendly, this visit was disappointing. Our meals were only average at best, but the real issue was the heat inside the bistro. Despite the 26-degree temperature outside, the inside was uncomfortably hot—easily over 30 degrees. It made dining there unbearable, and we had to leave most of our meals behind. I spoke to a waitress, who apologized, but there was no sign of further action or involvement from management.

As we left, we overheard others commenting on the stifling heat, which indicates that this was a widespread concern. We won’t be returning anytime soon, especially on hot days. It would be beneficial for the management to address the temperature issue to improve the overall experience.
