I did the Welcome to Melbourne tour with Alex as our guide. It has been an unforgettable week full of once in a lifetime experiences - especially the surfing lesson on Phillip Island. Alex was fantastic and ensured that the trip ran smoothly - it was a seamless experience. He genuinely cared about making sure everyone had the best time possible and had extensive knowledge of every place we went to. Anybody lucky enough to be on one of his tours, is in for a great experience - we felt like a big family by the end of the week.

Lily, another member of WTT was also on our tour. She was so lovely, and captured some amazing photos of our trip and the group. I would not hesitate in recommending the tour to anyone else and I am excited already for my East Coast tour with WTT in January!

I recently did the "Welcome to Melbourne" tour, and it was absolutely amazing! Having my week structured from the moment I landed in Australia was a huge help. They even picked me up from the airport, so I didn’t have to stress about a thing from the moment I arrived.

The tour was an incredible opportunity to bond with loads of new people and get a real feel for the city. The guides are fantastic—so helpful and attentive. They really go above and beyond to ensure you're having a great time and assist with all the admin you need to sort out, which can be overwhelming when you're new to the country. The 1:1 meetings with the guides were super useful (just don’t go to these hungover!).

Our guide, Mia, was absolutely brilliant. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and she genuinely cared about making sure everyone had the best time possible. By the end of the week, I felt like we'd become great friends. Anyone lucky enough to be on her tour in the future is in for a fantastic experience!

Highly recommend this tour to anyone new to Melbourne—it really makes the transition so much smoother!

We had such an amazing week with Mia as our tour guide! Reassuring a bunch of Melbourne and Aus newbies immediately with her in depth knowledge of the city and positive vibes, we felt totally at ease. The highlight was of course the road trip to Phillip island- surfing, seeing the tiny penguins and feeding the kangaroos were once in a lifetime experiences. Mia made the whole week super fun and personal, with thoughtful additions like showing us her favorite bars, making sure there was a great soundtrack to the road trip, and making me feel special on my birthday when it could have been very strange being away from home with a group of new people!

The Welcome to Melbourne tour has been a great way to settle into aussie life. The week had so many great experiences and the presentation and 1:1 meetings were so helpful for our future plans. All this wouldn’t have been so amazing without our guide Mia, she was brilliant and always made sure everyone was having a great time, always willing to answer any questions and we really can’t thank her enough!

The tour organised with Welcome to Travel is an incredible first experience of Melbourne’s highlights, with the huge bonus of meeting a group of likeminded awesome people. Mia was an amazing group lead who brought energy and fun to the trip. Dave the driver was such a laugh, and we were able to see and experience so much cool and interesting things over the 7 days including Kangaroos, Koala’s, and also learn more about the rich history of the area. The team also help you in setting up key things like bank accounts, SIM cards and have a 2-hour chat to talk about your plans and share further advice. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to have an amazing experience of Melbourne’s highlights with really cool people.

It was an amazing week here in Melbourne, and a great way to start my trip. Seeing all the wildlife of Phillip Island was the high point of it and Mia was a great guide and very helpful during all tour. I do recommend it!!

Had a such a good time on the Welcome to Melbourne tour from welcome to travel! Our guide Natasha was great! It was really nice to discover Melbourne and Phillip Island like this. The team then also helped with my further travels up the east coast, which was super nice. Thanks Dan! They also are able to help with finding work. Thanks to everyone for making my start in Australia super easy and fun, especially Natasha. She was super sweet and energetic and really made the group tour so fun. Definitely would recommend!
