Please book your tickets directly from the flight provider to avoid the frustration with the agent if you can.

Please avoid having Virgin credit on Webjet system if you don't want to waste more money. Very poor communication and clarity.
I have a $500 credit expire on 31 Oct. I tried to book return flights Melb-Sydney on 30 and 31, and then Webjet requested me to pay an additional $658.49 to complete the booking.
Meanwhile, the flights on the same date and time are worth less than $500 on the Webjet website.

It is ridiculous, and it seems like I was forced to lose my $500 credit, or I have to use credit and pay an additional $658.49.

TL:DR I will only ever use Webjet as a site to compare airfares. And I will never purchase insurance again!

I booked non-refundable (cheaper) flights through webjet for international travel from Brisbane to Wellington. I thought I was doing the smart thing by booking insurance for emergencies. A couple of days out and my son came down with a cold. Being conscientious citizens, we got a RAT test - my son tested positive for RSV. I contacted Webjet who advised that they couldn’t provide a refund but would cancel the flights; we could then lodge an insurance claim. My son went downhill quick and developed pneumonia from the RSV; I took him to the Dr for a course of antibiotics. Dr gave us a letter stating my son had contracted RSV and wasn’t fit for travel. We lodged the insurance claim with Dr certificate and three months later been advised our claim is rejected because we did not see a Dr before we cancelled our flights as it states in their insurance policy. Technically, yes that is correct - would it have changed the outcome; no. If it is just too hard to work through a claim process only to have it denied because they’re not in the business of common sense, then it’s just too hard to part with my money to give to insurance. I’d rather save for transferrable flights than waste my time and money on Webjet..

Webjet are quick to take your money but not at all quick at helping when there's a problem. I booked flights, hotel and travel insurance through Webjet and was due to fly at 7.00am the day that Rex went into administration. I had to book another flight with Virgin, which I also did through Webjet. Later I contacted Webjet to ask if I was due a refund for the cancelled flight or how to make an insurance claim. They said to wait. 4 months later, nothing. I made another booking with Webjet this morning and it reminded me about the Rex issue - their advice was to contact the airline directly, which is totally passing the buck. So, the mental toll of being bounced around overseas call centres for hours on end is hardly worth the amount of refund due. On review and to save my sanity I'll choose a different travel agent next time.

can't speak for others experience but webjet just took an hour out of their day to sort a mistake that i made at no charge whatsoever.

i had booked 4 routes on separate airlines in one go and had accidentally booked one flight to land 2 hours AFTER the last flight was supposed to go - totally my own lack of attention to detail. they called me a few times, my phone filtered them out as spam so i didn't receive the call. they were diligent enough to call the secondary passenger, and they called again when they said they would, after i removed their number from the spam registry.

they offered 2 alternatives that resolved the issue and with ease and great helpful attitude, allowed me to select the alternative at no extra charge. she was friendly and expressed genuine concern that one alternative might be more risky than the other, even suggesting a more relaxing option - almost like i had a personal travel agent for an hour there.

really pleased with this service, online ticket sales services are known for charging as much as they can at any given opportunity, so for them to dedicate manpower and time to help me fix my own mistake at no cost was very refreshing, really good work guys, 5/5 customer service.

Awful costumer service when there is a problem! It is surprising that I see this rate here, 3.7! It is absolutely fake and too high for Webjet! We booked our 2024 Christmas trip with them then needed to cancel it for some medical reasons. It is July and we are still having drama with Webjet for our cancellation and getting refund and flight credit back and still not successful! It is interesting to see other customers had the same problem with Webjet in the reviews! I wish I could give them 0/5! No transparency, no help, kind of stealing your money! I lost around $600 for trusting them! Frustrating! You don’t!

OK we are heavy users of this particular company's services, and about a month ago there was some kind of glitch on their website, and it nearly drove me to Expedia, and in one last attempt I tried to complain on their website. Got a chatbot. This annoyed me even further. So I unloaded on the chat, very angry and a bit rude.
Well!
I got a personal call back from two people and an email from another and they were not bad English speaker in Manila, they were managers. They fixed it, and were so friendly and helpful and now everything is better. I am impressed. And sorry I got angry.

DO NOT use Webjet !!!!! I booked flights to Bali in Feb this year to fly out in Sept ...Two weeks before flying I checked my flight OD9118 and there was no flight with that number flying out on my date, so contacted WEBJET ,they assured me saying your flight is still flying !!!! A week before I checked again and still no flight OD9118 is flying to Bali contacted WebJet AGAIN to get " I don't know where your getting you info from !! Your flight is still flying " so I get to the airport for check in & the lady says " SORRY YOUR FLIGHT WAS CANCELLED 6 MONTHS PRIOR " I contacted WEBJET and no Apology nothing ...Never EVER AGAIN WILL I USE WEB JET
