This motel is a gem and I don’t really want you to know about it but the it deserves kudos. If you’re about supporting local and mom and pop is your vibe, then this is a slice of heaven you shouldn’t miss. It is adorable - definitely more of a boutique “motel”. Grounds are immaculate and well suited for solo travelers and groups alike- think hammock, fire pit, various seating arrangements around an immaculately kept garden. I needed a quick retreat from the city and this ticked all the boxes, close to town, close to nature, affordable, parking available, and bird song galore. There’s a covered area you can store your own bike or rent theirs, a camp kitchen, comfy and large rooms. Rooms are well appointed. Met the owners who are on site and they were super helpful with recommendations, friendly and responsive. Will be back for sure but definitely plan to stay more than 1 night.

Our stay at the Warburton Motel was excellent. 80 min from inner Melbourne quiet, restful, and well equipped, the owners are lovely, easily reachable, and so helpful! The town itself is picture-perfect and can't wait for our next trip back!

We had a great stay at Warburton Motel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The owner was incredibly helpful, giving us great advice on local hiking spots, which made our trip even better. This beautiful lady was born in 1966, and you can tell she’s been treated with so much love and care to get her to where she is now. The Warburton Motel has such a great vibe. It’s welcoming, comfortable, and set amongst the most gorgeous nature. You can tell the owners have worked so hard and it really shows.

The location is awesome. Close to everything you’d want to do but also so peaceful that you feel like you’ve escaped from the world. And the beds, oh my god, the beds. It’s like a dream while you dream. Honestly, I don’t know what magic they’ve put in those mattresses but they’re the comfiest I’ve ever slept on.

Everything was spotless and it just felt really cared for. Between the trees, the firepit, and the overall atmosphere, it’s the kind of place you don’t want to leave. Warby, you’ve won me over. We will definitely be back!

Great experience! The room was comfy and had everything that was needed. It maintained cool temperature despite being scorching hot outside. Clean bathroom. Superb service from the owners. Easy to cycle to with secure facilities to store bikes.

Impeccably clean, centrally located and fairly priced—with just the right amount of whimsy and a whole lot of friendliness—I loved this place. My partner and I stayed for one night and used it as the perfect jumping off point to go visit Warburton’s main nature/outdoor attractions. After a long day adventuring, we unwound by their firepit which was a *chef’s kiss* ending to the evening. Would 100% stay again.

We absolutely loved our one night stay at The Warby. So much love has been put into the restoration and renovation of this 1966 motel and it really shows. So pleased they have been able to keep some of the original features too and add modern comforts. It’s super clean, comfortable and quiet. Lovely white towels, very comfortable bed and everything just felt super cosy. Lovely grounds too. We’d love to stay again in warmer weather.
