What an incredible jam packed half day tour with Aaron our guide. His knowledge was incredible and he was only too happy to answer questions that anyone asked of him. His genuine love of his job and interest in people was very evident. We loved his knowledge of bush food/medicine and we got to taste some incredible native fruit that we would not have known was safe to eat. What a wonderful experience. Had a great full day northern tour with our guide, Aaron. Loved it. We even got to go up the Bloomfield track a bit. Aaron was very knowledgeable with the bush tucker/medicines, and it was a different perspective to the Daintree. We saw all the main sites, walked some of the boardwalks. The spear throwing at the end was fun too. To top it all off, Aaron found a cassowary on the drive out. A great day.

I had the most amazing cultural experience on the morning half day Ngana Julaymba Dungay tour with Aaron. His local knowledge was so amazing to listen to and he brought a great energy to the day as the tour guide. Aaron filled the day with so many different and unique experiences/stops and despite being a half day tour, it never felt rushed and he was very generous with his time. Highly recommend and I will definitely be booking again for a full day next time. Thank you for a fab day and for sharing Indigenous culture with the group!

Highly recommended.
Afternoon tour with Aaron was jam packed with new sights and experiences and information about the local culture, traditional practices and surrounds.
My only regret is we didn’t have time to go back and do the full day tour.
Unique, wonderful experience.

This was probably the best tour we did while in Australia! Our guide (Eric) was AMAZING. We saw a lot, did a lot, and thoroughly enjoyed the rainforest. Best of all, we learned so much about the indigenous peoples of Australia. Highly recommend this tour!

We had a great day with Aaron as our guide. Our kids enjoyed the fruit and damper with sugar bananas. Highly recommend and thank you Aaron. Also nice to meet Howard the Croc from a distance.

My wife & I had a great time with Aaron as our guide learning so much about the local culture & seeing so much.
Aaron often went out of his way to give us opportunities to see wildlife (got to see a croc chilling in the river) or try some bush tucker (eating green ants tasting like citrus) or bush medicine.
It was a big day out but got so much out of it. Highly recommended!

My wife and I recently went on the Ngana Julaymba Dungay tour in Port Douglas with Aaron as our guide. We had an amazing experience during the tour and were able to learn about the Aboriginal culture around Daintree. Aaron was a great guide, sharing his knowledge in a passionate and approachable way. He was also enthusiastic and made sure to learn everyone’s names and engage the entire group. I would highly recommend touring with Walkabout Cultural Adventures.
