If you want to destroy the wheels on your luggage before you leave the carpark, then this is the place for you! If there was an award for 'Most Dilapidated Carpark', Wagga Airport would win year after year.
If you're unable to find a parking spot given it's lacking size, you have lucked out.

At the least, the condition of the carpark is consistent with the rest of the roads in Wagga.

Nice compact airport, friendly car rental staff. Fuss free check in . In dire need of better public transport, buses in particular to the airport from the city and nearby university. Students travelling from interstate need reliable & affordable public transport options to enable more air travel to see family. Something to work towards ...

Great regional airport with daily flights to Sydney, Melbourne and weekly to Brisbane. Fantastic little coffee shop with great coffee and a selection of local produce from the Junee Licorice and Chocolate Factory.

A friend of mine missed her flight—yes, completely her fault—but when she started crying from the stress and anxiety, staff escalated the situation by calling the police on her.

No one explained what was happening, they just ignored her, issued a 24-hour ban, and then said she could only board another flight (24hrd later) if she showed remorse and apologised.

She disclosed she has anxiety, but instead of compassion or even basic decency, she was treated like a criminal. Is this how Wagga Airport deals with vulnerable people?
Absolutely unacceptable.

I recently flew with REX Airlines and had a disappointing experience. My departure from Sydney to Wagga Wagga was scheduled for 8:20 AM but took off at 8:50 AM, causing significant delays in my schedule. On my return, the flight was scheduled for 5:05 PM but departed 12 minutes early without any notification. This led to me missing the flight, leaving me stranded in a city with limited flight options. The lack of communication from REX Airlines was unacceptable, and I had to incur extra costs for accommodation and a new return ticket. This experience has made me question their reliability.

Right now, on March 19, 2025, I’m sitting at the airport, trying to sort this out. It’s incredibly frustrating to deal with these issues, especially outside of work hours.

Though outdated and in need of refurbishment, the Wagga Wagga Airport still serves the needs of the community well. There’s a general seating area opposite the check-in desks, and a further seating area after security for QantasLink passengers travelling on a Q400 flight. Special mentions to the Blessed Bean cafe, amazing coffee and the proprietor is incredibly energetic. Must be the coffee!

Rex in operation, minus the hassle of hand-carry checks! Qantas still does. Great regional airport.

I had arrived 5mins late for baggage check-in to my flight with Rex (completely my fault but was not intentional). I was declined onto my flight because of this which was a massive shock because if this was to ever occur at another Airport (which it does because these things happen) it would be no issue at all. There was more than enough time to have this amended, I requested to speak to a supervisor or manager to see if something could be arranged which was also declined because there was none?. I then asked my options and if the lady could help me organise the next flight, she would not help me and told me I need to call Rex? Another thing that came as a shock because how are they not trained to do that?. I called Rex and explained the situation, they advised that the lady should have been the one to contact/assist with this, they also said it shouldn't be an issue to have my luggage put on the flight being only 5mins late?. At this point it was closer to boarding time so baggage was now secured on the plane and my only option was to get on the next flight which I had to pay $55 extra for. Not ideal at all, completely stuffed me around. I then had to go back to the lady to pay the $55. I understand she is only doing her job but there was such a lack of diligence to handle the situation it was just so poor. How they don't have actual management? Or staff won't/can't simply transfer a flight?. I just can't believe the inconvenience caused over 5mins.
