We had our wedding reception at Vue and it was spectacular. Vue has exceptional food and their service was great (with the exception of interruption during speeches, which we had asked not to do). The view is so amazing which makes the atmosphere great.

The leading up to the event was not to my liking but that’s based on my personal expectations. I wanted to be able to dictate the timeline for the event and was surprised that my wedding had to revolve around Vue’s food and service instead. If you have no problem with this, then this is the venue for you, but if it isn’t, I suggest you find another place and avoid lots of headaches.

Another thing you’d need to consider is that if you’re hiring a DJ they will need to patch up to their system since there’s a max level of volume. I had no issue with this but I was very disappointed when the speakers were failing right at the start for a few minutes.

Vue has their own chairs and tableware for events but you might not like this aesthetic since it’s very modern d and minimalist, I did not like it personally and had to hire multiple things. I’ll attach photos of what they offer and what I hired instead.

There are very strict guidelines around bump in and bump out and I had to pay a lot more to suppliers to accommodate to these guidelines which really hurt my budget, it is something to consider if you do your event there and have to get external suppliers. There was an issue on the night with one of the pick ups, I am not sure whose responsibility it was but I had to pay a fee for the supplier to go bad and pick up the missing items.

We had our tasting a week before and the food was also amazing, we were very pleased. My only complaint is that they sat us on the bar area, which is not set up for having food, and we were all squeezed up in the little tables and it was very hard to eat on the couches. For the amount of money we paid, I was expecting they would sit us at a table in the restaurant.

Our only feedback for the planning and delivery on the night at Vue, is absolutely glowing reviews! Natalie D and Natalie T both helped to book us in and answer all our questions throughout the planning stages.
On the night, we had such an incredible time at Vue for our wedding reception, from the beautiful location, to the delicious food, and your amazing catering team lead by Marie that ran the event so smoothly! My brother, who was MC, commented on how great and flexible Marie was to run the evening on the night, and a shoutout to the waiter Tim - who multiple guests said was so quick with his service and met everyone's request! Our guests have only said how fantastic all your staff were, and were blown away by the sunset over the city.
So thank you! Would highly recommend this venue to friends and family!

We selected Vue de Monde for our wedding reception as many of our guests were traveling from overseas, hence a central city location with exceptional cuisine are our main priority. Organizing the event presented several challenges, mainly due to the venue’s requirement to source certain items independently, such as the cake from a commercial supplier. My stylist had to make numerous calls to secure approvals for various elements. Additionally, although we arranged a champagne tower and provided the champagne ourselves, the venue required the brand information to apply a corkage fee.

Despite these hurdles, the service on the day of the event was exemplary. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything proceeded smoothly. The food, cocktails and beverages were of the highest standard. I received numerous compliments from guests who particularly enjoyed the perfectly cooked kingfish and duck; some family members even remarked on finishing their plates completely. The city night view provided a stunning backdrop, creating an ambiance that will be cherished for a lifetime.

A special thank you to Alexandra Demarconnay, who assisted in the final weeks leading up to the event in the absence of Natalie Talevski. Natalie also played a major role in the planning process, handling countless emails and assisting us professionally. Additionally, a big thank you to Tim, the waiter who acted as the main staff member and supported us during our menu tasting.

We were fortunate enough to have our son and daughter in law’s wedding at Vue Events on the 27th of July this year. After much planning from the Gold Coast ( thank you Lisa 😄 ), the night was absolutely perfect!!
The menu offered on the evening was extremely well presented, portioned and amazingly sumptuous ( thank you chef! )
We were offered a menu tasting prior to the event and were very impressed.
Our interstate and international guests all remarked on how wonderful the food was and are still talking about it.
The service was beyond professional, from pre dinner drinks to petit fours and coffee
( thanks to Tim and the team on the night ). And then there was the ambiance ….. Melbourne city skyline views were magical and attributed to the most beautiful photos.

Had my wedding here with my beautiful wife and it was an amazing experience. The staff at Vue were very easy to deal with and ensured the day ran smoothly. We were able to have a tasting a month out which made the wine selections very easy and the staff were accomodating. Couldn’t be happier with the outcome of our wedding day at Vue and all our guests loved the food provided by the kitchen.

We had our wedding reception at Vue Events and it was simply perfect. Carla was an enormous help for us and worked with all of our other vendors to make sure that we had no stresses on the day. The food was obviously sensational and the wines we selected were divine. We had the best service that I think I have ever had in any situation. The view is just to die for, which you can easily tell from the photos.

We had the absolute pleasure of having our wedding reception at Vue de monde. The Vue Events team involved in organising our event were very attentive, accommodating and so lovely to work with throughout the entire planning process leading up to the big day. Tnank you to Lisa, Alexandra, Ludovic, Natalie and Marie for supporting us. We had the best night of our lives, helped by the incredible views from the Darwin Room and terrace. We also loved the food and drink selection, which impressed us and our guests.
