Went in on a cold and rainy weekday night and was pleasantly surprised to be seated in a covered outdoor area that was warm and comfortable. There was more than enough space between tables for a relaxed dining experience.

All the dishes were fresh and cooked beautifully. My personal favourites were the miso kingfish and the snapper. The snapper was surprisingly good- it was paired with gochujang that added just the right kick without overpowering the dish. Another highlight at our table was the juicy and tender Fat Burnt Lamb Cutlets.

A special mention to Isabel, who was very attentive and made us feel genuinely welcome. Her warmth and passion for service truly made our night. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back to try the other dishes.

Look, I was expecting this place to be good but it exceeded all expectations!

What a great restaurant.

The welcome from Isabelle was so warm and inviting. She was so sweet and genuine and made you feel right at home.

The food was DEEEEE-LICIOUS!! Absolute flavour bombs. The kingfish ceviche was next level. The agadashi tofu and the miso eggplant were also outstanding. Could it fault a thing. We will be back! Wish I had taken more photos!

Little places in the suburb can be a hit or miss sometimes. But this restaurant surprised me. The manager on duty was friendly, well mannered and cheerful. The green tea was nice followed by pork gyoza. The skin was thin and plenty of fillings and expertly fried on both sides. Next was fish tempura. The batter was thin and crunchy 3 good size pieces was resting on a beautiful decorated plate with a white sauce with a lime reduction. Our last dish volcano chicken. A generious amount of chicken in a spicy rich sauce with baby corn, broccoli, carrots and mushroom on a bed of puree cauliflower. The chicken was tender and flavourful. The manager came back and check up on us to make sure that everything is going well. It was a really great dinning experience !!

From the moment I walked in, Virgin Ninja Restaurant impressed me. The staff welcomed us with warm smiles and attentive service that made us feel right at home. Each dish was bursting with flavor — beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We ordered a range of their sashimi dishes and mains. The carpaccio was delicious, miso eggplant was a hit and lamb and chicken dishes were cooked to perfection. All the dishes were beautifully presented. The staff were attentive, great service. Wonderful dining experience.

Virgin Ninjas – where fine dining meets ninja-level flavour! From the crispy home tempura to the knockout snapper, every bite was a tastebud roundhouse kick. Add in the warm, WELCOMING service from Issy and Rachel, and the kitchen magic of Chef Jason – it’s a full-on foodie adventure. Family-friendly, budget-friendly, and just downright AWESOME 🤩!. Down the Shire? Don’t miss it. This place slays!

Best sashimi.
They present the best sashimi. Each fish is aged for a different period to express its taste and texture. All the fish are served to maximize their savory taste. Among them, the tuna aged for 12 days was the most impressive. The cocktail and sashimi recommended by the owner chef are the best.

Here today with a group for lunch! Food, wine, atmosphere ,service exceptional!! The shire is lucky to have David ( Seven Lanterns) serving us up incredible food!
