Dean and Tanya go above and beyond for their guests, truly exceptional. The room was lovely and it was great to have the shared balcony for the breeze and birdsong. I think this venue would be especially ideal for couples or families traveling together. It’s a bit off the beaten path, so nice and quiet, and there’s parking for those with cars and bikes for those without to get up to the Esplanade.

I didn’t expect such beautiful facilities and atmosphere.
The owners are super friendly and give you recommendations for everything you need in Hervey Bay.
The service and the attention to detail really make you feel at home and make you want to come back every time you visit Hervey Bay.

My husband and I have stayed here twice and have had a wonderful experience each time. The hosts are friendly, helpful and a joy to be around. The room we stayed in was a good size, clean, well presented and had an ensuite. The common areas downstairs are lovely and comfortable and well stocked with all the essentials to make for a very pleasant stay. Although not located along the beach front, the location of Villa Cavour is in a lovely area only a short drive from the swimming beaches and restaurants and close to the bike path that can take you all the way to the Urangan Pier.

This well priced accommodation in Hervey Bay is perfect for a little weekend getaway.

Dean is an amazing host always good for a chat and happy to try and assist in any way he can to make your stay more enjoyable.

This is just outside of the main esplanade strip and east to get too and from town with a car or uber, though ubers late at night can get costly, and they have some e-bikes you can use to duck down to the shops or cruise along the esplenade.

This place has an amazing little balcony setting for the rooms where you can open the door and let the breeze in to relax.

If you are looking for a sneaky weekend getaway to Hervey Bay or a longer relaxing stay then we highly recommend Villa Cavour. The bed and breakfast host Dean is an absolute gentleman and made us feel very welcome and comfortable during our stay. Dean’s local knowledge eateries, places and sites to see is fantastic and to top it off he provided us with options to consider for whale watching cruises and the one we chose was amazing! The bed and breakfast accomodation is wonderful, clean, and functional. With super comfortable beds lovely bay breezes we were in total chill mode. We met some other lovely guests during our stay which made it even more special. Thanks Delano, we will be back!!

We loved our stay at Villa Cavour! The large room was comfortable and sitting on our balcony looking out over the pool was very relaxing. The well stocked kitchen, dining and living area was a lovely communal area. The pizza oven is available for guests to use and we had delicious wood fired pizzas. There are e-bikes available to use and along the esplanade is a great place to ride (especially to Enzos for a sunrise breakfast). There is a kayak available to use and a beautiful bay to paddle in (you may even see turtles). Dxean booked us on a whale watching tour which is one of the best things we have done for a long time. Dean & Tania are great hosts and we will be back!

We wanted to stay in the villa Cavour as a small piece of luxury during some travelling and it really didn’t disappoint. I can’t stress enough how great this place was. From the fully equipped and shiny kitchen to the very handy free electric bikes. It had everything you could possibly want in such a scenic place. Also, the hosts were so accommodating and kind, we felt so comfortable. They even let us relax by the pool while we were waiting for the bus after we’d checked out. Can’t recommend villa Cavour enough for anyone and everyone that wants to stay in Hervey bay

My husband, teenage daughter and myself stayed 2 nights at Villa Cavour. It was the most relaxing and comfortable accommodation. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners. They even supplied us with toothpaste when we forgot to bring our own. They have great local knowledge of recommendations of activities and places to eat. They were genuinely understanding when my daughter accidentally damaged their bike. The breakfast was delicious yoghurt, fresh fruits, cereals, toast and a huge assortment of coffees and teas. The communal areas are warm and welcoming and I felt as comfortable as i would at home. Dean and Tania are extremely friendly people and I highly recommend anyone to stay at Villa Cavour.
