We had no idea what to expect on our journey to Antarctica, just that it would be unlike anything we’d experienced before. It exceeded all expectations!

The expedition team and captain made everything feel seamless, from navigating the waters to ensuring we got the most out of every moment. The landscapes were dramatic, yet incredibly peaceful as we glided past glaciers. The whales, penguins and other wildlife were mesmerising, whether from our stateroom or the public viewing areas, we couldn’t pull ourselves away from the windows and balconies. It is otherwordly, highly recommended.

I recently returned from the Ancient Wonders cruise with Viking, sailing from Istanbul to Athens, and I’m still in awe. Every stop along the way was breathtaking, with shore excursions that were beyond anything I imagined, so rich in history, culture, and beauty.

The service on board was exceptional, and my ocean-view room felt like a sanctuary. Every restaurant offered something special, with world-class food and impeccable attention to detail. The spa and onboard facilities were equally incredible, creating a perfect balance of adventure and relaxation.

This was my first cruise experience, and I honestly don’t think I could travel any other way again. Viking has completely set the bar. It won’t be my last voyage with them!

We had an incredible experience on the Mediterranean cruise with Viking! The ship was beautifully maintained, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and the itinerary was packed with stunning destinations.

Each stop was well-organised, allowing us to explore key cultural and historical sites with ease. The onboard dining was top-notch, with a variety of gourmet options to suit every palate. Overall, it was a perfect blend of luxury, adventure, and relaxation.

My friend and I have recently cruised on Viking Saturn on their 7 night "Journey to Antiquities" voyage from Athens to Rome. I would not hesitate to recommend a Viking ocean cruise to anyone who is after a smaller ship experience with a more personal feel and more inclusions. Our stateroom was roomy and so was the bathroom, the beds were very comfortable, and the room had all of the amenities you could need including a pop up vanity mirror in the desk. The balcony was lovely to relax in the afternoon, you could order a cheese platter via room service at no charge and enjoy a few drinks on the balcony as you sailed out of your port. The silver spirit package represents incredible value although we found the drinks onboard to be reasonably priced so for a shorter itinerary that is port intensive like our one, it’s probably not necessary. There were so many personal touches from the complimentary robes and slippers both in stateroom and in the spa to the featured daily stamp on the atrium TV that made the whole cruise experience feel really special, especially being “welcomed home” each day when you returned to the ship. Overall, I loved the whole experience, both the cruise itself and the featured ports.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, the live shows were entertaining, and the destinations were perfect. I loved the option of the shuttle bus to the city centre, allowing us extra time to explore. I highly recommend Viking for a fantastic cruise experience!

Our river cruise began with a luxurious stay at Lisbon's Corinthia Hotel, followed by an unforgettable seven-night journey on the Douro aboard the Viking Torgil. From the moment we boarded, we were treated to exceptional hospitality, including a VIP welcome, stylish accommodations, and plenty of engaging activities. The ship's inviting lounge and Aquavit Terrace provided perfect spots to relax and enjoy impressive views, while the elegant restaurant served a delicious mix of international and local cuisine. Our shore excursions enriched our journey, including visits to the historic streets of Coimbra, a gourmet dinner at Graham's Port Lodge, and explorations in Salamanca and Lamego. Each destination offered unique cultural experiences and breathtaking sights, making our adventure truly memorable.
