Passing through and came in for lunch.
Exterior of hotel a little tired but inside nicely presented. Staff very friendly and helpful. Meals were excellent. Can highly recommend and we will return.

Food was dry and bland. Bed was a shocker. Bathroom needs cleaning attention. That takes it to 1 star. Get 1 star back for friendly service and 1 more for secure under cover motorbike parking.

We stopped for lunch during the week. The menu was limited and the prices a bit higher than we expected for a pub. I ordered a beef burger and assumed it would be fresh mince but it was not. It was some type of processed burger and not nice. Nice chips but for $26 or $27 dollars (not sure which) I would have expected a higher quality of the food.

The place is also fairly run down and could do with some TLC.

New Owner since I was there last time, a busy night, and the lasagne was very dry. Meal sizes were average (ok) and the chips could be better. However, the atmosphere was fantastic thanks to a barman and some young girls.

Just had a great night at the Victoria hotel. Great service, friendly patrons, fun raffle (we won a bottle of wine) and had one of the best meals ever at a pub. Steak was perfect with excellent fresh perfectly cooked vegetables and crispy hot chips. Loved our night.

Disgusting phone manner from staff when ask if would honor a voucher that had only just expired. He Didn’t ask how much for or how many people we were wanted to come in with. Just cut me off said No we don’t do it! Very disappointed. Most places a voucher lasts 12months this was only 6! Your loss, especially when you’re pub - food and atmosphere, doesn’t compare to how good the other pub is in town!

We went for dinner in the bistro, service staff were very nice and polite but the noise from kitchen staff was appalling - we were worried it was employee abuse but it could have been loud banter, either way it was terrible for a dinner experience.

The meals finally arrived after over an hour and we sent 3 of the 4 back as they were burnt, baked and buggered.

When the replacements arrived they were just as bad as the first time, we struggled to eat them and walked out leaving our meals on the table

The service staff gave us 1/2 our money back and apologised again - they were very understanding and professional.
