I have been a tenant through Vanilla rentals for the past seven years.. Pippa and the Plainland team do such a fantastic job and nothing is ever too big or small for her. If ever there is a maintenance issue she is on top of it straight away. Inspections on time and super communicative with anything we need.
There has been a time that I have been unable to make an inspection and Pippa has moved heaven and earth to try to accommodate me.
I just can’t fault them. Hopefully in the near future we will purchase our own home and the first agency we will look to is Vanilla and the team at Plainland.

Always friendly and helpful staff. Great at looking after my rentals with regular inspections and rental reviews including now having comparison rentals and always sensitive handling of issues for both tenants and landlords. Rent payments are always on time and can always check current payments and inspection details on line. Vanilla Rentals is a very professional and well run rental agency.

If you are a property investor steer well clear of this company. After seeing the way they manage peoples investments, I am utterly disgusted.

We have had our neighbours property (which is managed by Vanilla) black water running through our property (this has caused damage to our property). When reported to Vanilla Rentals they ignored it. We had to engage the council to get any sort of traction in getting this issue resolved. This resulted in numerous back and forths with council, ourselves and Vanilla.

I have also contacted them about other issues which are/will cause damage to my property. They have ignored these.

Only after a couple of weeks of erecting a new fence, did a contractor engaged by Vanilla damage a section with their excavator. Vanilla was unresponsive in getting this fixed as they were unresponsive about the damage the neighbours property's septic water had caused.

We have even had them deny on the phone that they manage this property (when we first started having the septic issues), that is how far they will take it to try and weasel out of responsibility.

I have been a landlord, renter and owner occupier, so I know exactly how I would feel if the company managing my investments mistreated them in this way.

We rented with Vanilla Rentals for over 5 years and have never had an issue. We always found the property managers easy to deal with, we had maintenance issues fixed in a timely manner, we were able to put fences up for our pets as long as they were removed without damage to anything. Inspections were never a problem but our house wasn’t ever damaged and our rent was always on time. We found everything very easy. Thank you.
