Beautiful rooms, very comfortable beds. We were greeted by Graham who was very welcoming and filled us in with where everything was and how to use everything. TV was great - could watch Netflix and catch-up TV. Our stay included continental breakfast with good variety which included my favourite - soaked overnight porridge with brown sugar and milk. They do have fireplaces but because of allergies, decided not to risk it - they do have very good reverse cycle air conditioning which came in very handy because it was very cold!! Really enjoyed our stay.

This was our second visit to this hotel and we really enjoyed it. I really like the great collection of plants and all the plants are so healthy. The rooms are lovely, the verandas are great to sit and read, Laurel Park is ten minutes away. And then, what could be more pleasant, after a walk in winter, than sitting by the fireplace with a cup of tea.
The house itself is so beautiful. I want to return to this place, which is what I plan.

Loved our visit to Vacy Hall. A wonderful trip back in time but with all the mod cons of plumbing and electricity. A beautiful grand old lady with lovely antiques surrounded by stately gardens. Our host Graham was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us some great tips on dining. We can't wait to come back again. The breakfasts were superb and catered for all tastes.

We have stayed at the enchanting Vacy Hall on numerous occasions over the past six years. The house and gardens are lovingly maintained and presented every time we visit. The attention to detail is nothing short of magnificent with plush bedding and linens, beautiful furniture and fireplaces. This is a wonderful way to steep yourself in a bygone era with all modern comforts whilst keeping an amazing building alive and well. Graham, Sue and the staff are ever helpful and accommodating. Look forward to our next encounter.

I stayed here the two nights following my wedding in mid April and I am so glad we chose to stay at Vacy Hall!

We were able to have friends check in on our behalf as we were busy getting ready for the wedding (elsewhere). We booked the large luxury king suite which was full of charm. It was neat and tidy and close to the front door.

The property had everything needed and was extremely quiet, We didn't bump into other guests during our stay which we prefer and Graham was lovely when I spoke to him in the car park on the day we checked out.

We had to postpone our stay by 6 months due to COVID-19 and delay of the wedding which Graham was extremely helpful in arranging.

We did not eat breakfast on site but we absolutely adored this property and would stay here again anytime in the future when visiting Toowoomba.

The only slight takeaway was the tap in the ensuite was constantly running and when others used the shower in other guest rooms you could hear the pipes but we took this as the good old fashioned charm of a historical building. I wouldn't be expecting everything to be "perfect" and to modern standards.

I would have been happy to purchase the breakfast and cover the $25 fire charge if we were able to stay a bit longer.

This truly is a magical place & a place of beauty. If you enjoy history and a bit of luxury this is the place to stay!
Well priced and excellent value for money.

All the staff were lovely (that we met) and we cannot wait to come back!

Thank you Vacy Hall

Vacy Hall is a gorgeous heritage building with on-site parking, surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens. We had the king suite which was spacious, comfortable and heated through a central heating system. There is also the choice of a fireplace for an additional $25 each time you light it. The room was styled according to the era of the building with modern features including tea and coffee making facilities and a TV allowing a choice of Netflix movie for those days where you may just prefer to spend a couple of hours in the room. The host, Graham, was most hospitable and shared his knowledge of the local area to recommend places to visit for a meal. We decided to order from the inhouse breakfast menu and the meal did not disappoint! The food was delicious and of a generous serve. Vacy Hall is quiet and in a good location with restaurants within walking distance.
