I booked a place for over two months, but one week into my stay I had to cancel  due to circumstances out of my control.

The Air BnB policy was that the first month's payment was non negotiable, but anything after that was. Urban Stays were completely inflexible, and wanted me to pay the full fee. They were within their rights to do so, but it was a pretty poor thing to do.

After a lot of back and forth, they waived ten days of the total 60, and then tried to get me to cancel the booking on my end so they could re- advertise the place. Essentially, they wanted to get paid twice!

Overall, I ended up paying over 10 thousand dollars for a place I didn't end up staying in. I think it reveals the character of the people who run this place. They were discourteous, money-minded and litigious.

Hi to whom it may concern as a sole trader sam g of urban stays give my self a bad experience in regards to work to be carried out and then proceeded to insult me he used inappropriate language by telephone and then proceeded to accept and decline quotes it’s usually not something I do but honestly the guys not professional at all
