Sally and her team are an absolute dream to work with. Our wedding day would not have run as smoothly as it did without them. Right from the start sal was easy to work with, from the detailed and punctual emails, to quick informative phones calls, sally made sure we were up to date on all information as we approached out wedding. The many templates and tips that we were provided helped guide us through stressful situations, and the amazingly detailed timeline was massive help. During the week leading up, Sally made sure we were stress free, chasing up any loose ends or concerns we had.

On the day, Sal and her team helped set up and arrange decorations and props, made sure that all the little things were taken care of, and were available for any questions or requests. She made sure we had plenty of food and drinks whilst we took photos and reminded us to take some time to ourselves. She was awesome at rounding us up to stay on schedule, and they were just amazing duo that we are so grateful for. Sally even left a little late night snack that was greatly appreciated in our room.

We can not thank Sally and her team enough for their professionalism, but also their kindness. They are a must-have for your wedding and we highly recommend them. Thank you for helping us have the most amazing day. We are forever grateful.

We were on the fence about whether we would get a wedding coordinator for quite some time in the wedding planning process, thinking we would save some cash and do it ourselves. However, engaging Sally and the Upon A Star team was by far the best decision we made in our whole planning process.

Sally sorted out all the vendors, our timeline and coordination on the day and fully set up our venue. It was a HUGE weight off our shoulders and we could fully relax and just enjoy our day. I can't imagine how much more stressful it would have been not having them there!

10/10 easy to work with, excellent communication and service. If I ever got married again (which I unfortunately won't) I'd 100% work with them again.

Sally and her team at Upon A Star are possibly the most helpful people I've ever come across in my life. Sally helped us put together our wedding at Bundanon in March 2024 and I can honestly say that the wedding would've looked half as good and went half as smoothly had we not hired Sal. She went above and beyond organising our vendors and making sure everything was perfect for our special day. She is a conductor of a 300-piece orchestra who can also shred on electric guitar - Upon A Star was the smartest decision we made for our wedding and we can't recommend them more.

What an incredible human! Sally was an absolute lifesaver both on the day and leading up to the wedding. I thought I was pretty organised but Sally and her team gave me complete confidence that everything was going to run smoothly.
We hired Sally for day of coordination but it was so much more than that, it’s such a needed piece of mind she is able to bring too. From setting up our tables and making sure everything got to who it needed to, to staying on top of timing and vendors. Sally and her team were super professional but Sal felt like a mate we could confide in. Great vendor management skills, doesn’t make you feel crazy when you’re having a meltdown and just so friendly and understanding. Absolute 10/10 recommend.

Where to start... We actually wouldn't have had our dream wedding without her!

We hired Sally for on the day coordination and she went above and beyond for us! Not only did she spend countless hours in preparation for the wedding but she answered every single little question we had, and more! She organised an on site visit to ensure she understood our vision and made us feel so incredibly comfortable.

On the day of our wedding, Sally was professional and available for all our needs, particularly when we had a crisis with the bus!! She spent all day organising, setting up our reception and ceremony, and taking care of the little things so Josh and I didn't have to worry about a thing! We also came back to a beautiful little gift in our room at the end of the night.

Five stars is not enough to justify the absolutely amazing job Upon A Star Special Events did for our wedding! Everything Sally and her team did for us with their on the day coordination package was nothing short of magnificent!

We held our wedding at a venue where we had to source all of our own vendors. We were told by the venue that a coordinator wasn’t necessary and that it could easily be done by ourselves. This was great as it meant we could choose everything we wanted and we didn’t have to worry about the extra expense of getting a planner or coordinator. This is what we did initially, and we went forth on doing the scheduling and coordination of everything for our wedding day.

However, the closer we came to our wedding, the more we started to question whether we wanted the extra stress of executing it all ourselves on the day. We had planned to allocate jobs to family and friends, but we started to worry that this would occupy our time and thoughts - not to mention theirs - and our enjoyment of the day would be affected. We also noticed that many of the weddings at our venue also had a coordinator.

So, for peace of mind, we reached out to Sally approximately two months out from our wedding. Boy, what a great decision!! Not only were we very fortunate that she was available on our date, but she did so with such ease and professionalism. She dealt with all our vendors and made the day run smoothly. I’ll also mention that our wedding weekend broke records for constant rain. This did not stop Sally and her team. They took on the last minute changes to the schedule with gusto and we had nothing but compliments from all our guests. Sally just gave us peace of mind knowing that everything would get done and our vision would still come into fruition.

The only question we were left with is why didn’t we just hire Sally from the start? We could not of had more of a perfect day (rain included) and that’s all thanks to Sally and her awesome team - THANK YOU!!

Sally was AMAZING! We booked Sal as our on-the-day wedding coordinator, but she was so helpful and responsive the whole way through.

The real magic happened about 2 weeks out, when she breezed in and took a huge amount of stress off us - you don't realise when you start planning, but no matter how organised you are, the last few weeks before the wedding are manic!

We couldn't be happier with the outstanding service provided by Sally from Upon a Star Special Events and it's been awesome having someone who cares even more about our wedding than we do.
