We had such a wonderful time at Upalinna over the long weekend, especially with daylight saving commencing. The weather was amazing and we were very lucky to have nice warm nights. ||Your accommodation is fantastic, I love the way you have styled the bedrooms with the black & white gingham linen! It was a perfect place for 3 families with enough room inside and out. The fire pit area was great too providing a fun space for all of us. ||You should be proud of what you have created. You have a beautiful offering in a stunning location. We were very fortunate it was available to us. ||Thanks again and all the best.

We were a group of 2 x families that stayed at Upalinna Station!||We found the hosts very friendly and helpful on all local attractions||We stayed in the refurbished shearers quarters which were fantastic, very clean, had all the cooking utensils & equipment needed and very well laid out. The internal wood fire kept the place very warm||We had a “pizza night” using the original wood fired oven which was fun for all||The outdoor fire ring was perfectly set on the banks of the dry creek bed, so at night we could congregate around a warm fire in a relaxed setting ||The place was very centrally located within Flinders Ranges to all great attractions||The 4WD track setup on Upalinna was a great afternoon out for adults & kids||We would certainly recommend this place to all wanting a unique stay with all modern comforts

Had a wonderful week camping at Upalinna Station. The campsite was perfect, away from everyone but close to everything. The sites were extremely well maintained and clean. Would highly recommend this station stay to anyone wishing to explore the Flinders as it is centrally located and the owners were friendly and accommodating. Awesome views towards the Pound from the campsite too and fabulous sunsets each night.

We had a fabulous time at Upalinna Station, we stayed in the shearers quarters. Was gorgeous, peaceful and wonderful views. The facilities and ambiance was so relaxing. Great walk up to your own personal lookout. 4wd track was great fun. Was an amazing trip.

Excellent location to take in the Flinders Ranges. Very modern kitchen and huge lounge/dining room. Bedrooms exit onto the balcony (no internal access). Separate bathroom/laundry block is clean, modern and spacious. Building constructed with thick walls and remains cool on hot days. Outdoor bbq and dining table with umbrella. Building is very private—down a 3km driveway. Emu, wallabies, kangaroos graze on the property. Beautiful night skies with no light pollution. Very quiet and peaceful.

Our walking group hit the jackpot when we found Upalinna station was free during July. Recently renovated with with style and obvious thought of the need of groups of all types. We had 12 adults who were able to select the style of accommodation to suit their needs and budget. The kitchen is the best I have seen with no need to pack anything, pizza trays, plastic and ceramic settings ensure groups with kids are also catered for. We loved the options of sitting around the fire pit and watching the stars or sitting indoors with the fire and cooking our pizzas in the old bread oven. Whilst a 4WD will let you go anywhere in the Flinders, we drove a MX-5 sports car and with care avoided the kangaroos and emus along the unsealed track to the accommodation. Car pooling with others allowed us to spend 4 nights and 3 glorious days exploring the area. More walks still to do, so we will be back. Mija and Matt were very helpful and gave useful suggestions and reassurance to ensure we had a fabulous stay.

Incredible! I highly recommend this camping spot. Huge spaces... Only 8 sites. Plenty of firewood around, only fallen wood. I stayed here for 4 nights because my children had a ball. Close to Wilpena Pound. The family that owns the station were very welcoming and accommodating. I will return here in tje future on my next trip to Flinders Ranges.

perfect for us as we are self contained, there is only one drop toilet there. plenty of nice walks on the station property and many bike adventures can be done nearby. great views from many of the 8 sites but number 6 is awsome. great bird life and a campfire every night! what more?
