Very impressed with the Seacliff Pool House. Big for the family, kids love the pool, located on a park, bbq facilities and big rooms. Close to everything we needed too. Clean and the team at Unwind Holidays are amazing hosts!

Do not stay at their apartment 506 at the Pier Promenade. It is advertised as Pier Luxury Apartment on Airbnb. Pre-occupancy, the owner attempted to add additional charges outside of airbnb charges. The apartment is dirty, we found discarded rubbish behind the bedside table, toilet water is leaking from the base of the toilet and the water runs onto the tiles and under your feet (when sitting on the toilet) to the drain (what a great feeling of toilet water between your toes), all curtains have large obvious stains, balcony fly screens torn from the sliding doors and therefore useless, furniture damaged and tired, dishwasher doesn't work, dirty windows and with child hand prints, dirty lounge suite with armrests caved in, the inside bottom of the toilet was stained and not cleaned with toilet brush, incorrect size coffee pods, desk lamp had no connection, lounge lamp does not work, vacuum completely full (had not been emptied for months), all cushions are stained and one had food on it, faux leather dining chairs have all deteriorated, ducted air-conditioning vent screen is clogged, paint peeling from ceilings, no slip mat in a very narrow convex bath, and overall the apartment is very tired and neglected. No response from host once stay commenced. We would have vacated immediately; however, we were unable to due to South Australian Govt COVID-19 restrictions for travellers from the ACT and we were solely in Adelaide for the funeral of my father. The owners knew of our restrictions and purpose of our visit pre-occupancy. We have reported all problems to Airbnb. Airbnb responded immediately and are very concerned. The appropriate processes have commenced by Airbnb.

Unwind have managed our holiday rental beach house for 3 years and we have been extremely happy with them. Kate is a wonderful host and has helped out many times, and importantly is both contactable and responsive. Would highly recommend them to manage a short term rental property

We stayed at their Seacliff Park property. My family had travelled from Tasmania so we could have a long overdue catch up. The property was very dirty and neglected and when initially raised to the management company they promised a partial refund which they reneged on later. We managed to get a partial refund through air b and b despite the truth being twisted by the property management company. This is a very untrustworthy company with a cowboy as the owner that seems like they are out to take the money and run. They charged over $1k a night when the value represented isn't more than $300 night. Avoid this untrustworth group like the plague as there is far better properties out there representing better value that actually treat their customers with care and respect.

Warning, do not stay at ANY property managed by Unwind Holidays Adelaide. My family of 8 along with our family Labrador stayed at their Wirrina Cove house and between us all we have stayed at hundreds of AirBnBs across South Australia and the world and never have we had such a bad experience. From when we first got there, the property was dirty, they charged us more for “delux linen package” providing dirty linen, no basics like hand soap, toilet paper etc.

When contacting the property they were rude, blunt and non-cooperative. Did not provide appropriate basic level of customer service for our reasonable requests given we paid $550 per night.
The entire property is monitored with surveillance cameras, so unless you feel like starring in an episode of big brother with your privacy invaded I wouldn’t waste your time or money.

I’m not one to write reviews, however after my stay at the Wirrina Cove house I feel although I have a duty of care to warn to other potential “stayers”.

When you first arrive you are greeted with a rather nice view, unfortunately that’s all this place had to offer. The house was very dirty - it probably offered the level of cleanliness you would expect to find at a $100 a night motel, not a $550 a night holiday house.

We booked the Unwind deluxe package which is quite deceiving as it’s very hard to unwind when you are being watched and recorded with various CCTV cameras throughout the property.

Due to our level of disappointment, we thought we would investigate the option to reduce our stay by 1 night for the opportunity of a minor refund. We were told this was an option until one of the adjacent neighbours filed a noise complaint for playing a game of cards in the outdoor area.

When asked for the refund the property manager suggested that we were “party people” and that the noise complaint was a breach of their policies which made the first promised refund void.

If a family is unable to simply play a game of cards and have a laugh in an outdoor alfresco area without neighbours making a noise complaint then I don’t think the property should be available to rent.

If you want to relax and enjoy a nice weekend with your family then I would recommend staying elsewhere. Unless you are content which a holiday in near silence with subpar toiletries and below average customer service. It’s a 0 out of 5 from me.

Do not book through Unwind Holidays if you want your security deposit back. Myself and my two adult children stayed at Wirrina Cove property on the weekend. We left the property cleaner than it was when we arrived. None of us have ever smoked yet they say there was cigarette damage to furniture! This is totally dishonest behavior.
