Always an incredible experience! I've been coming here for 10 years and my mum did before me with her parents too. Staff are lovely, horses are gorgeous and the whole atmosphere is magical!

Wonderful weekend experience at Uncle Nev’s.
All horse were well trained and behave. Staff at the reception were very friendly.
It was summer season, so all field was dried and brown and no kangaroo around due to the hot weather at that day.
I think best time is cooler season.
Just one thing I like to address about
“ stand up!!” Commands to us from the guides while we were riding during the tour.
The guides were sometime suddenly yelled to the guest “ stand up !!” While horses were peeing . We had no idea what’s going on.
Almost end of the tour we found out the reason why we need to stand up because for smooth wee for horses. Please explain to us before started the tour.

Our group loved uncle Nevs horse riding. The staff are extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. I was very highly anxious and they guided & accommodated my needs the entire time. It didn’t matter that our group where all at very different levels of confidence & experience they made sure we all had fun & all experienced the different types of paces.
We will most definitely be back here again. If you’re thinking of giving it a go, it’s definitely the place to go if you want to have a great time.

Excellent trail ride. The best I’ve done. Arrive 20 min early to fill out paperwork and get a helmet etc. Staff were friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. Matched horses to the client well. The trail ride is suitable for all levels including absolute beginner. We went on a proper ride through bush and uphill. Lots of wildlife to admire: kangaroos, deer, rabbits, birds. We stopped at the top of the hill for a 20 min break for a hot drink and biscuits. Stunning views there. Continuing the ride back to the stables via the ‘home’ paddock. Which btw is 120 acres with lots of trees, water, grass. The horses are well cared for and the staff were in tune with their names and personalities. I highly recommend this venue.

Was an amazing experience, the people working there are so kind. We had never ridden horses before, but the team made it easy to learn. There’s the option to be picked up from Wallan Station making it easy with PTV.

Love Uncle Nev’s!!!

Super friendly office staff and guides, horses with unique personalities and stories and not just dead trail walkers, a wide variety of beautiful terrain and LOTS of opportunities to go a little faster.
Pepper was a lovely responsive boy that deserves all the carrots 🙂

This was one of the best experiences I had... I went on the 3-hour trail ride and the staff there made sure everyone was given horses according to their ability and made sure everyone was comfortable with them.... The staff were just lovely - they talked to each one of us and asked about if we were comfortable or not. The way the staff handled beginner riders and experienced riders separately was so good. they made sure that the beginners were sent first and the experienced to canter behind them. I would go this place every 2 weeks from now on cause the pricing for this 3 hour ride was worth every penny of the experience.
