Stayed for a week in a 2 bedroom apartment with balcony . The accessibility features such as automatic opening door ,wheelchair bathroom, and spaciousness were good. However we had a large construction site on our level , directly outside of our balcony and windows ....so noisy we could not comfortably open windows or make use of the balcony * ( we would have appreciated being informed of this before check in .)
But more annoying was being forced to have a " complete clean " of the apartment after 3 days.also asked what time and was told between 9am and 2pm...5 hour window..When we said we didn't want or need this intrusion we were told it was" mandatory ". I went to reception to try to resolve as we had a fully self contained apartment with laundry etc.so could wash our own towels etc .and could not fathom why this " policy " as we were told , made any sense .Again I was told it is mandatory so I asked for a firm time frame so we didn't have to be on edge all morning waiting for the cleaners to knock and disturb us... when I suggested between 11am and 12pm was told it would be put in the notes but there was no guarantee as the housekeeping staff had their own schedule!
I replied if they came any other time I would send them away. We vacated the apartment reluctantly at11am and 12pm and the housekeeping came .
This whole episode caused us to be very stressed and angry, we travel often & stay for weeks at a time and have Never encountered this "policy" . Our privacy and wishes were not respected.
We would Never stay here again because of this. Spoilt our whole experience at ucity..

We had a 2 bedroom apartment for the night! What a lovely big apartment and so clean. What we loved was we could open our windows!
It's a perfect location so close to the central market.
The apartment was well presented with lovely products.
We found the staff so friendly and couldn't do anymore for us. We will definitely be back to stay.

We hosted a function at UCity in July and another in August, as well as studying in the accommodation. The function team is friendly, efficient, communicates well and our workshops went really smoothly. The accommodation was wonderful too -the view and location can't be beaten.

Great place for someone that's disabled. Having to spend 14 working days in respite as my place is being renovated. Top appliances, kitchenette ,sink goes up and down as well as washing machine and dryer even a place for for support worker to sleep over night. Every thing would of been great as I would of given 5 stars as
not all rooms have the automatic door. I'm trying to be independent as much as possible. It's ridiculous as I'm a prisoner in my own room. I can't get out, or in as I brought my mobility scooter and using my wheelchair inside. No body down stairs are not allowed to - as they have to man the desk.

We stayed across the street from this building and had two excellent breakfasts here at Luigi. By chance I discussed with the concierge the concept of this brand new building. It is designed and built to provide state of the art accommodation in a fantastic location in Adelaide for people of all abilities. The top six floors of the building provide retirement accommodation, there are also long term apartments for people with mobility issues of any age and they also have these advertised apartments for a nightly rate for all people including people with mobility access needs. I understand the building also offers technology assistance and there was so many features. I would love to learn more about this great initiative. |For anyone visiting Adelaide these apartments look brand new, spacious and in a fantastic position with the added bonus of Luigi’s out the front. I’d love to stay here on my next holiday.

I would have never chosen this place for my 3 night stay however, I am incredibly impressed. The studio apartment feels exactly like home and safe. Central Market behind, Rundle Mall infront what more can you ask. I certainly would recommend. Cons: Exactly what others say, the heating controls don't work. Something they must work on next winter as you can see. Otherwise the modern new age apartment is desired for my next stay in town.

Worst place can't open windows kitchen don't work no ovens bad water temp to cold aircons keep braking they say no pets allowed but I have seen animals there most the rooms have no balcony and very bad service and the kettle don't work that good and was disgusting and the drains was full of hair tv never worked for 2days

We've had no heating for 3 weeks. Every receptionist I've spoken to will not give us a answer on why it's not working. It's in the middle of winter and my client had ongoing services with this company for respite. Not good enough!
