Great place to get to. It was a bit windy but nevertheless a great experience to bundle on the Great Ocean road trip day.
Make sure to go on Loch and Gorge, just 4km upfront.

It has been a long time since I was down to see the 12 apostles a lot has changed. The walkways are much better. There’s actually lookouts and there’s a lot more viewing areas. They are so nice to see we had called into a coffee shop down the road and got some sweets when we arrived. It was quite enjoyable from michael.

Located at Great Ocean Road & Booringa Road, Princetown, Victoria, Australia 🇦🇺
This is a outstanding part of Australia’s coastline. The drive along the coast taking in these beautiful structures is a great experience. I have been several times now and each time I have a wonderful time. The photos that can be taken is fantastic. The boardwalks and viewing platforms offer exceptional opportunities to view the apostles. They are very well maintained. It can get very windy and cold so I recommend taking hat/beanie and warm clothing. Also wear comfortable walking shoes as there can be a lot of walking involved. Depending on where you go along the coast, there can be steps involved. The Apostles are very popular with tourists so it can get very crowded. It also depends on when you go. Parking 🅿️ is very good, a lot available and there’s also toilet 🚻 facilities available along the coast, especially at the visitors centre.
There’s only seven remaining Apostles still standing. This is due to erosion and the waves beating against the structures. The Apostles are actually a group of limestone stacks. Despite the name, there was never twelve structures, only nine. Six of them are visible from the most popular viewing point while the seventh is several metres away from the corner of the main viewing platform.
I would most definitely recommend anyone visiting Victoria come to the Twelve Apostles. Thumbs up!!! 👍👍👍

Breathtaking views. Couldn't catch the sunset on an overcast day.
Went there at around 8pm in December. So windy, hence cool although it's a 36 deg day. Better to have specs or sunglasses on as the wind blows so much dirt into eyes.

This was my second visit to the 12 Apostles Lookout, and what a difference it made! My first visit in October 2022 was during the lookout's renovation. While it was nice to have the entire place to ourselves, the rainy weather and grey skies dampened the experience.

This time, on 24 December 2024, the weather was perfect with clear blue skies. Although the area was bustling with tourists, parking at the carpark was hassle-free, and the 15-minute walk to the lookout site was pleasant. The newly renovated lookout is truly impressive, offering a fresh perspective, including a stunning view from behind Gibson Steps. The vibrant scenery and upgraded facilities made this visit unforgettable. Highly recommend stopping by!

Breathtaking views and an unforgettable experience at the Twelve Apostles! The limestone stacks are truly awe-inspiring, and the surrounding scenery is stunning. However, be prepared for an unwelcome entourage - the flies! 🪰 Bring a fly repellent spray with you, trust me, you'll need it. Don't let the flies deter you though, this natural wonder is a must-see on the Great Ocean Road. Highly recommend!

Great views but gets busy. If you are considering visiting this place make sure to be here before 11:30am otherwise you might not get a spot off the viewing platforms. The view was great from the several platforms. If you like to go to max height you might be interested in the helicopter ride in which gives a Birds Eye view of the 8 apostles remaining. The gift shop has several gifts at a fairly decent price. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good views and a peaceful place.
