Beware, when you go to order food at 545pm she rudely says the kitchen is closed despite the sign saying 6pm. Mind you it could take 15 mins to be served so best get there at 515 for last orders! Avoid this place if you have to feed your kids anytime after 530pm as there is no alternative but the $14 return barge into town.

We stayed here for 2 nights in our caravan. The food choices at the cafe for lunch were very limited. I accept it is in a remote location. However $45 for over cooked poor quality calamari, budget chicken nuggets, chips, a beer and a chocolate milk was very expensive. The food tasted terrible and we didn’t finish it. Too salty, undercooked chips and very bland. The atmosphere and location of the campsite is great. The facilities are well maintained and the pool was a wonderful feature. This would be a 5 * review except the food was terrible and there’s a lot of long grass on campsites that needs attention. Particularly as it is snake season and there’s a lot of kids here. We’ll definitely be back, please add some healthier, fresher options to the lunch menu 😀

Can only speak for the hospitality of the little bar and shop - great experience. Helpful, friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed the unexpected beer with live music on a Saturday arvo
