An amazing Visitor's Centre. Excellent indigenous artefacts and a history of the restoration of the area after the 2019/20 bushfires.
They also sell the best brooms from the Tumut Broom Factory which is across the road but unfortunately closed when we were in Tumut (long weekend).

Very helpful staff. They couldn't give much info on Kosciuszko National Park but recommended we get more details at Park entry.
The only Visitor Centre where one can buy a Corroboree Frog encased in soap 🙂

All information for Tumut and the Snowy Mountains. There also are rare Corrobere frog in an aquarium. Unfortunately, they sleep during the day.

I lived in Tumut and now I feel that the energy is getting low. Except thank goodness for the visitor center. They are amazing, a fountain of information and the galley a wonder space. I hope that Tumut revives itself because it is a healing valley and you need to attract folk to return to its hills, River and magical town folk
