Traveling from Brisbane to here so early in the morning and just give short notice that the boat is canceled. And for the reason of staff shortage, but we already made a booking two weeks before so they should be at least find a solution for that. A really terrible experience for this company. I wouldn’t recommend, and don’t expect too much in this company.

Trip out wasn't too long or rough even though it was choppy, caught my first Mackerel Tuna 🤙 wasn't expecting such a fight fir such a small fish, struggled a bit as I've always used spinning reels , took out 5 other lines.

Heaps of room on the boat though for seating , standing and fishing 🎣

Communication was excellent from ringing booking and checking in at the dock,

Fish were filleted after bleeding straight away which was also great so as we arrived back if was no fuss. Everyone got to take some home if they wanted.

If I'm in Surfers again I'll definately book again

Absolutely amazing day with the team at True Blue Fishing Charters. My husband and I have been on a few charters within QLD now and we both agreed this was one of the better ones that we have been on. Both Crew members were friendly, full of fishing knowledge, patient and made sure everyone had a chance at reeling in a great fish. We were super lucky with the weather, also saw a turtle, a few whales and had a dolphin hang around us for a while too which made the day that much better. Looking forward to booking another trip through these guys and would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting a great fishing day out.

Even with the hard work of the Skipper and crew, the Fishing Gods seemed to be not on our side today. Great morning out with a chilly breeze though.

Sent 3 teens to have the deep sea fishing experience (11am-4pm). They appreciated the crew friendliness, knowledge and help. The day was beautiful and even if they didn't get food to take home they really enjoyed the time.

I usually never write reviews, but today I had a experience of a lifetime, so I had to!

Booked the fishing trip of 11am and had a fantastic journey. The staff were amazing and helped everyone with everything. Also had a very clear explanation about how to use the rods.

Caught a lot of tuna today and all the people on the boat were lovely. We went to different locations, but the first location worked the best for us.

I highly recommend this company. Thanks guys for the amazing day!

Just took my second charter with True Blue Fishing Charters off the Gold Coast here in Queensland. Our friendly Skipper Anthony and Deckie Frosty put us some nice Snapper and Long Tail Tuna much to everyone's delight. Whales and Dolphins and good quality fishing made this another great day. I will definitely be back. 5 Stars.

5 stars for these guys!!!! not only are they one of the best charter crews the Gold Coast has to offer but they know where alllll the good fishing spots are. Went out for a full day and had a great sized fish hooked every 30 mins.

Can’t say how grateful I am to the owner of the business who was able to make a spot for me last minute and allow me to have such an unforgettable day. His crew are also such great blokes who at all times are super helpful and patient again what a great business and what a great day.

Will be booking back again very soon.
