Unfortunately yesterdays experience left me in complete disarray. After over a decade of various dealings with the team at travelwise I was given the most horrendous customer support I’ve ever received; in any retail capacity.
While the team began hosting bookings for me while I was working within the travel industry yesterday I was blatantly informed that the consultant and her team leader had no time for my simple domestic booking due to the fact that I was no longer an affiliate staff member. A booking that would take five minutes for an experienced agent, using a credit I earned from over a decade of service had no value to the overarching brand. I’m ashamed to see how my once great company now appears to operate. For anyone who was made redundant or let go over the past three years or had to step down due to financial or medical requirements the last thing you need is to be told you are no longer of value to the company that already told you as such during the pandemic.
I was left with no response to my simple request, no booking and being told my credit would be void after the day was out.
This consultant and her Team Leader should not only be ashamed but perhaps look for a different role as customer care should and always has been the corner stone to successful travel management and without it you will not succeed. For anyone looking to book their travels with travelwise I would highly recommend you take your bookings elsewhere. While hard to find there are still agents who care enough to put you as a person above the value of the booking.

My wife and I have travelled with Travelwise on numerous occasions in the past 12 years. Our next trip is hopefully to the Kimberley in July 2021.
I am a very nervy sort of passenger but I am very comfortable with Steve's driving and the comfort of his big coach is second to none.
I cannot recall anything but great experiences all very well organised.

Steve took a bus load down to see Coldplay. Wonderful trip away. Steve was very professional and explained the whole days agenda to us all. Steve took care of everything from picking us up, stopping for a break and booking us into the motel. Organised all our rooms including handing out the keys. Drove us to the concert and parked nearby. No hassles. We could sit back and relax. Highly recommend Steve and Travelwise to take you anywhere you want to go. Lynda & Tanya Megaw
