Our East Coast tour from Byron Bay to Cairns was amazing from start to finish thanks to Neil from Travel Playground. All buses, accommodation and add-ons were organised very well. Travel Playground takes the stress out of the whole experience so that you can fully enjoy your trip of a lifetime!

Booking through Travel Playground was one of the easiest and stress free trips I’ve ever experienced. They had everything organised to optimise the time we had to travel to see as much as we could, and then had all our details of trips/buses/accommodation all in one email, making it super easy to find when needed! I couldn’t recommend this company enough and we were walking unpaid promoters throughout our whole trip! Honest to god a solid 12/10 trip was had, thanks to Travel Playground!!!

We couldn’t recommend travel playground enough. Everything was done for us which made our lives easier. We went for private rooms and they were all to our liking. Fast reply timeframe to any queries that we had. For anyone wanting to travel the east coast, from Sydney to Cairns, Travel Playground are your go too. Thanks very much to all the staff for making our trip so memorable.

Neil organised the trip of a lifetime for us & was always available to answer our queries and add in extra activities. Usually I would avoid travel agents and book trips myself but we thoroughly enjoyed 2 unbelievable weeks travelling the east coast and I'll not hesitate to contact Neil when hitting the road again. He made the experience seemless, highly recommend!

TOTAL SCAM

Booked the east coast with this company as they were the only ones who guaranteed that I would be able to have the 1 night 2 days boat in WhitSundays on a short notice. If not, I would have not booked with an agency at all.

They promised me that they would be able to get me on the boat, however once booked they said it was no longer possible forcing me to do just the Whitsunday day version without any financial compensation or a 2 night one, so called 'upgrade' for ~140 dollars more. I was in the middle of nowhere in Tasmania with little reception and decided to pay since they forced me to pay asap. Once arrived in Early Beach I found out I got scammed and massively overpriced.

In addition I had 1 night and in total less than 20 hours on Magnetic Island, which is bizarrely short, In particular as I had 5 nights in Early Beach. So of course I was unable to see all the highlights and had a very stressful time on the island to try to see as much as possible.

Finally they agreed on email once again I was able to shorten my Stay in the hostel in Cairns. So once I got the confirmation I agreed on email and booked everything needed for my new plans. The day after they told me it was no longer possible and refused to hand my back my promised refund. Apparently their promise on email was only valid for 13 minutes which they didn't say beforehand.

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THERE, you think the price on the website is the legitimate one, but in real time they let you pay 20% more and give empty promises on email and make them not trustworthy. In addition dreadful planning so you are unable to enjoy beautiful Australia as you should.
