Melissa King is the BEST travel agent!! We were going on a summer 2024 European cruise and needed help finding excursions that not only worked around our ships arrival/departure in ports but were also cost effective and fun. She nailed every single one AND she arranged for ground transportation from the ship to the hotel at our final stop and then the hotel to the airport. While over there I needed help with some things and she ALWAYS came through. As long as she is willing to help me, she will be the only travel agent I ever use!! Thanks, Melissa!!!

Melissa planned a literal perfect trip for us. Every hotel was great, our tours were wonderful, our guides were great, our transport showed up exactly on time. I was so grateful to have her help to plan this big European trip, and I would have been so overwhelmed trying to plan all the cities and travel on my own. I also loved knowing we had someone back home to help us out if we ever got in a bind. I can't wait to do it again!

Melissa knocked it out of the park for us. She used our 'ideal trip' guidelines to lay out a number of destination options across The Caribbean and Central America and we could not be happier than we were with our choice of The Verandah on Antigua. When we experienced an air travel schedule issue early on in our trip (which also impacted our resort schedule), she provided expert guidance to help resolve the issues to our complete satisfaction. Our stay at the resort was EVERYTHING we were looking for and more. The grounds were spectacular, the three pools and two beaches were beautiful, the services from the staff was excellent, and both the beverage and food options were varied, plentiful, and well-executed. The two day-trip excursions she booked for us (Island safari, catamaran cruise) were well-executed and most enjoyable. We booked two more half-day excursions through their 'adventures' desk (Shirley Heights sunset, scooter snorkeling), and had a great time at both. We fully intend on going back and having Melissa organize it for us.

Melissa with Travel Bug Adventures was incredible in creating an Egyptian trip of a lifetime for our family. She facilitated the booking process, addressed all our questions, helped us navigate trip insurance and even provided valuable insight regarding traveling with small children. We had a long layover in Istanbul, Turkey on our return trip, and worked to secure a hotel and even a quick tour while we were there! Melissa at Travel Bug Adventures is A-MA-ZING! She anticipated everything and answered questions we didn't even know to ask! She made suggestions for stops and activities that are now lifetime memories for me and my family. We had complicated scheduling with 4 people to deal with - and Melissa took it all in stride. She scheduled us at the best hotels and had wonderful drivers/guides for us at each stop. The entire trip went off without a hiccup. The last night the hotel had mistakenly booked us for 2 rooms instead of 1. I texted Melissa and it was taken care of. Just like that. We had a wonderful, stress-free, completely planned/done-for-us vacation in Italy thanks for Melissa - and we wouldn't have changed a thing. We highly recommend her to all of our family and friends and will absolutely be using her again in the future. Hopefully - the near future!!

Melissa is the first travel agent I've ever worked with and I absolutely recommend working with her! As a younger millennial, no one in our generation knows about the magic of travel agents, but Melissa completely changed my way of thinking! In the past she helped us plan an amazing trip to Indianapolis, and this year she helped us plan our first international trip! I contacted her in January to plan our trip in March and she worked diligently to help us solidify our vision. She made many draft itineraries for us and was extremely open to feedback about what we wanted to see and the order of where we wanted to visit. She helped us create a memorable trip centered around biking, public transportation, food, walking tours, museums, and the outdoors. Everything from booking excellent accomodations (ask her about the Bilderberg Garden Hotel if you're ever in Amsterdam, it was amazing!) to picking perfect flights to minutae like hotel transfers was thought of in great detail.
