I have been using TRAVEL AUCTIONS for my motorhomer and fishing holidays for many years now. It's so simple, just request online the state your interested in, type of holiday. Hotel, cabin, site in caravan Park or even a house boat. Beach, country, capital city holiday the choices astound me. You will be sent often via email holiday offers. The idea is you bid below what the current price is (what you can afford) at great savings usually and if your in the top 50 bids you get your 10 day holiday to take as is or in
2 x 5 day lots. It's so simple to bid online or phone Travel Auctions and place bid with their lovely staff. They are always so willing to help you, and always say they hope you win a package. And when you do win they are super prompt to let you know with a "Congratulations" . To pay is easy online by instructions given or once again I usually ring the friendly staff and pay. I have no hesitation in stating this is the best way to get a holiday you can afford and you have one year to take it at a time that suites you. How good is that. We have met on our own holiday many other Travel Auctions holiday winners and they all have great stories to tell of the class of, and choice of holidays and the wonderful Travel Auctions concept and ease of finding your holiday. I have only experienced ladies on end of phone at Travel Auctions and they have all been wonderful and put you at ease when new at this bidding thing. Thank you , thank you .

My Wife and I have had several very successful travel auction experiences with your organisation.

Unfortunately, we were most disappointed with our recent Travel Auction accommodation at the Costello-Moonta Bay Cabins (Cabin 7). The advertisement promoted a ‘deluxe cabin’, which was is far from what we experienced. While it was clean, it was exceptionally basic with dated plastic/laminate décor. It did not include a ‘veranda with outdoor setting’ unless you consider a bowed, dirty plastic table, and 2x dirty chairs situated up against an electric fence, overlooking the back of a cabin just a few meters away meeting this brief (picture attached)…

The advertised picture for this accommodation was a photo of Moonta beach. To accurately capture what you are buying, the cabin photos should include an accurate representation of the accommodation you are bidding to stay in.

There is no noise proofing, and we were awake at 3am hearing fishermen coming and going as the cabins are literally a car width apart from each other. While we ‘won’ 3 nights, we left after 1 night as it was not the comfortable, enjoyable holiday getaway that we that we were led to believe we were bidding on.

The cabins are more suited for overnight accommodation for contractors rather than holiday makers and this should be more clearly advertised. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, enjoyable and quiet getaway.

I love how Travel Auctions allows us to bid for a price that suits our budget, and the variety of short breaks that they offer. We recently stayed at Barmera in a spacious, cute and clean cabin right on Lake Bonny. The serene vistas highlighting the beautiful scenery of the Riverland allowed us to have a restful break amongst nature and poke around the quaint towns in that area.
The whole experience with Travel Auctions is easy, their staff are always friendly and the process takes no time at all. Well done to them!

Travel Auctions, have spent numerous short breaks throughout the years. I have met some interesting people and gracious host's. You get to manage your budget, and still get to have a break. Try it out you won't be disappointed.

Have won 6 bids this year alone, focussing on domestic travel locally for our family holidays (SA and VIC), and this is a great way explore and support local towns and businesses we normally may not ever visit. Easy to Bid and sort by location, lovely customer service team on the Phone, and overall we keep coming back for our family trips, and gifts for the Parents. What a great company to help reduce the costs of holidaying. Such an easy process to bid online, or call their friendly team to place a bid. I love that now they offer cruising at a reduced cost, great for a spontaneous getaway. I highly recommend bidding for your dream getaway & definitely spread the word to your friends & family.
My favourite place to take my fur family is beachside at Wallaroo & because of travel auctions I can afford to do this multiple times a year 😍😊

We have done many travel auctions & never been disappointed. A few have been to places we would never have visited which means we get around a lot more than we would have.The last auction was to Euston NSW. Bidding price was suprisingly low so we weren't expecting too much. Boy were we wrong. Cabin was older style but suited us, no complaints at all. Right next to the river, bike & walking tracks. Euston Club 2 minutes walk away, exceptional food. Over the river to Robinvale. We received a lot of added on extras which saved us quite a few dollars. Have another auction booked for October, really looking forward to this one in Mintaro SA. Cant rate these auctions highly enough. Keep them coming
