I have been a Trakkadu owner for a few years now, and I can honestly say it was one of the the best decisions of my life. Our family loves to go away in our Trakka whether its is a day trip for a picnic, or a 3 week adventure up the north coast. The quality of build is first class, and the after sales service is the best I have ever experienced. These guys love what they do, and it shows.

We’ve just returned from the second 6 week trip in our Trakkadu. Not only did the VW perform perfectly as expected, we’ve become more than satisfied with Trakka’s fit out. They’re a very professional business, right from our first contact with Martin at last year’s Caravan and Camping show in Brisbane to deciding which options to placing an order. When the big day for handover arrived, we were both impressed with the easy yet comprehensive way in which it was handled.
Having previously been owners from new of a caravan, we are really impressed with the instruction booklet which includes not only the various manufacturers’ instruction books but also real value dot point notes from Trakka. Having taken delivery, we did have some queries which were handled promptly.

Had a Trakka for 3 years now.  The layout suited me & the build, design & quality are amazinglygood.  Operation is easy, all the features to make life on the road easy.  Roller shutter cupboards, easy to see them closed & things won't fall out.  Easy to live in for long trips away.

I am the owner of a 1993 T4 VW Trakka conversion, purchased in 2014 and third owner. The workmanship which has been done by the TRAKKA family is a testament to their professionalism and knowledge of their craft that this vehicle has continued to still be roadworthy, and provides me with so much pleasure on trips, both inter and intrastate. We bought a new Trakkadu AT in 2013 and have had so many adventures. Highlights are Ningaloo, wildflower hunting in WA, the Kimberly, Pilbara and WA Goldfields. 7 trips across the continent exploring SA including the Northern Flinders and Oodnadatta Track, Kangaroo Island and the Gawler Ranges. Lovely travel through NSW and Victoria. A month in beautiful Tasmania. Then in 2019 a lap of the continent with long stops in FNQ and Kakadu. The VW is reliable and comfortable to drive on long trips, dirt roads or visiting family in the city. The support we have had from Trakka dealing with the occasional wear and tear issue is outstanding. Living in WA they support our local mechanic and source parts. Six years of outstanding after sale service and they always treat us as a valued customer.

Our Trakkaway 700
My husband and I purchased our motorhome (Trakkaway 700) back in 2018. Prior to this we attended the annual caravan and camping show in Adelaide for over twenty years and played the game what if…….we would walk away at the end with an imaginary purchase of the best motorhome on show.
Finances and time were against us making such a commitment a reality - until twenty years on we were in a position to make it really happen. As we weren’t totally satisfied with what was on offer by Adelaide dealerships we took to researching interstate offerings. We came across the Trakka Company on the internet. Wow I Immediately knew we had to make arrangements to go interstate and investigate Trakka further. We attended the Melbourne Caravan and Camping Show and came across the founder Dave Berry. He was such a help in steering us in our decision making with all the models Trakka had on offer. We just knew that the designs, quality of the build and the innovative features was what we were after. The following year we went to the Trakka headquarters in NSW to inspect their factory, test drive the vehicles and made a decision on our purchase.
Nearly three years later we cannot fault the quality of the build or the after sales service. We have had some minor issues with some components that were installed but Trakka have been exceptional in the speed of their response, replacing any faulty units. The repairs were carried out at a local Adelaide repairer. Our Trakkaway has been on numerous local and interstate wanderings. We are no longer camping in tents but in a hotel room on wheels. We just love it and the lifestyle it brings. Our preference generally is to free camp. When you consider everything that is in the Trakka package it really is a dream purchase that we have made a reality. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Trakka to anyone we meet and encourage people to become members of the Trakka Family.
