This tour was a great way to experience some of the towns and villages in Tuscany which would otherwise be difficult to see without a car, all in the comfort of Mercedes vans.
We visited wineries; had a really enjoyable cheese making afternoon and a pasta making class. On one of our Free Days, Monique drove us to a nearby Valdichiana Village Outlet shopping. The organisers and tour guides Innes and Monique were so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. A very enjoyable tour.

I have recently returned from an amazing two month trip to Italy. To be able to take in the most of Tuscany, I had signed up for a 7 day Taste of Tuscany Tour, as the itinerary sounded perfect and exactly what I was looking for. This Tour company is owned and operated by a beautiful Mother, Ines, and her daughter Monique, two of the most classiest ladies I have ever met. Their knowledge of the area is extensive and they truly cared about giving us the best possible experience, from the beautiful Agriturismo accommodations, to every amazing tour. It was definitely a Taste of Tuscany, with adventures in Cortona, San Gimignano, Siena, Pienza, Montepulciano, Castellina in Chianti and the Chianti region. The tour was a perfect combination of guided tours and free time, in a lovely, intimate and relaxed way. I truly felt like I was visiting wonderful friends and they were giving me their best personal tour.
The meals and wine were all incredible and plentiful! The transportation and drivers were 5*. Thank you Ines and Monique, you are all amazing, lovely ladies and it was truly was a most memorable time.

I recently returned from a wonderful holiday in Tuscany. My whole experience couldn’t have been better and I would whole heartedly recommend this company to any one planning a trip to Tuscany.

Ines Fabris as manager of Tours of Tuscany provided the highest standard tour imaginable. She is very knowledge, friendly and helpful. Her fluency in Italian and with many years running tours in this region meant that she could offer a much greater depth of the experience taking us to places away from the usual ‘tourist destinations’, whilst her friendship with local people (shop owner/restauranteurs etc.) led to many interesting and fun experiences.

Erica Zuzlo was our local guide who devoted herself completely to ensuring we all had the best possible experience. She had extensive local knowledgeable, was always so cheerful, super organised and a very caring person. I can’t imagine travelling with a better guide.

The accommodation, a villa in tranquil, picturesque countryside really added to the unique experience. My villa was quite lovely, full of character, very comfortable, clean and spacious. I appreciated having a kitchen, laundry etc and my food/drinks were restocked at request. After busy days out travelling to towns in the region it was so relaxing to come ‘home’ to my lovely villa. A perfect balance.

As I mentioned previously I think Ines organised a really well balanced itinerary. There were busy days travelling to interesting towns where we were provided with maps, and plenty of suggestions as to what to see, where to eat etc. then there was the relaxing pampering day at the Day Spa, and also a really fun day participating in a cooking class at a nearby farmhouse. There was a visit to a farm for cheese tasting and a winery for wine tasting. Free days were scheduled so you could choose to stay in and relax or take up other options for outings and activities.

Each night we were taken into Cortona for dinner at a wide variety of restaurants. Again Ines and Erica provided us with helpful suggestions for food and wine. Experiencing the excellent local food and wine in very convivial company was most enjoyable.

The tour exceed my expectations and I would whole heartedly recommend this tour to any travellers wanting a very high standard, well organised, friendly tour to a most beautiful area of Italy.

Tuscany Tours is a fabulous way to tour and not feel as if you are on a “tour”. It is run by a mother and daughter Ines & Monique. Their love and knowledge of the area inspires everything they do. Their goal is to let you experience Tuscany as a local. Their support staff is wonderful as well.

The Villa on the ‘Agriturismo’ is stunning, beautiful, spacious and relaxing at the same time. There is a pristine pool for those who enjoy a morning or evening swim. A panorama of flowers, separate the pool area from the flowing fields of wheat or sunflowers or olives etc. The experience varies with the season.

You have the choice of going on day trips to many of the villages of Tuscany: Arezzo, Pienza, San Gimignano, or staying back at the villa and chilling. History, spectacular architecture, museums, cathedrals abound. And of course there are the wineries!

In the evening you can have dinner in one of Cortona’s delicious restaurants with the other guests in the Villa or eat at home in your kitchen, if you prefer to cook. The refrigerator is always stocked with tasty morsels.

Back in September of this year my partner and I took a trip with Tours of Tuscany.

We had such a fabulous time. Innes, Monique and Erica looked after us like we were family and we consider ourselves so lucky to have been a part of this tour. We recognise how difficult it must be to try and accommodate everyone’s wants and we believe that this was done in a truly professional manner.

Our apartment was in a lovely Tuscan villa just outside of the gorgeous town of Cortona. It was spacious, well looked after and fully self-contained. We had our own breakfast supplies so could just have a leisurely meal to start each day before we were picked up and taken to all different parts of Tuscany. When we reached our destination, we had coffee and were given maps and a brief rundown on each city. Then we got to roam at our leisure until we had lunch or were taken to the next destination.

Each night we got to taste many local foods and wines while talking about our day with the lovely people we met on our trip. We got to visit wineries, had a fabulous cooking class with Donatella did cheese tastings and even did a day on a Vespa.

This is such a fantastic way to soak up the atmosphere of an area. Thank you Tours of Tuscany for leaving us with such wonderful memories. Barbara & Ian

We collaborated with Tours of Tuscany to create an unforgettable Tuscan experience for 9 ladies. Monique and Ines organised the tour with nothing left to chance. Staying in the villa made the experience a true Italian one, in the morning throwing open the shutters with the view of the sunflowers and vines was breathtaking. The tour components encapsulated everything we wanted from the tour, and felt like a local . We are looking forward to bringing more ladies next August. You want be disappointed if you choose Tours of Tuscany.

Tours of Tuscany gave my husband and I the most wonderful Italian experience. They looked after us for 2 weeks as we immersed ourselves in the Italian lifestyle. Nothing was too much trouble. Monique and Erica go all out to make sure everything is perfect. I have been lucky enough to experience their warmth and hospitality twice, and I would not hesitate to do it again!

We've joined the Tours of Tuscany tour 3 times. Each time we've loved everything about it, i.e. the place we stayed (lovely accommodation, beautiful pool, lovely scenery), and then each day we visited gorgeous Tuscan towns and places with a small group. We would be back in our country villa by mid afternoon so we had time to have a swim or a walk or put our feet up and rest (or maybe have a drink). We would then go to a restaurant in or near Cortona in the evening and have an amazing dinner each day. The food we had each day was perfect and each time we've been the group we went with have been people we still stay in contact with.

The team who organise the touring group (Ines, Monique and Erica) are always looking to make your stay perfect and that's why I'll go back again one day! Loved each experience of doing the Tours of Tuscany trip and that's why I highly recommend Tours of Tuscany.
