This is my 3rd school camp at Total Adventures School Camp and cannot speak highly enough of the facilities and staff. The staff are very approachable and totally attuned to the nature and foibles of teenage boys. Their ability to handle the challenging behaviours of a challenging age group is exceptional. The instructors knew exactly when to be more authoritative and when to use a more relational approach. Our first activity was with Chelsea on the bouldering wall and within a minute I could see that she had summed up the lads and knew the perfect level to set. As a teacher, I was learning a lot from the instructors and began noting some new techniques I could apply in the classroom. Although they may not realize it, the camaraderie between the staff on the camp is very palpable and sets a very positive tone for the boys to follow. You could tell from the enthusiasm that the instructors bring to their activities that it is more than just a job for them. In terms of facilities, the venue is excellent with a multitude of engaging activities that are perfectly suited to the age group.

Disgusting! What type of school camp doesn't have back up bedding incase of emergencies such as a child getting sick. My daughter threw up in her tent all over her sleeping bag and was given a towel to use as a blanket. If I could I'd give it no stars. Where is the duty of care

Top location! Variety of different camps almost like a choose your own adventure! Great location and a friendly workplace. Good to see all the work happening behind the scenes to provide the best possible camp experience for students and teachers. The new gear aswell as ongoing gear maintenance ensured activity’s to run smooth, fun and safe with lots of positive outcomes. Highlights were the MTB pump track, Stand Up Paddleboarding and the canoe/ hike overnight expedition! Overall a great camp - would recommend!

As an outdoor guide for over five years, I found the team of great outdoor guides and instructors easy to work with. It's really cool that TA can cater to very small school groups up to over 200 students. At least three levels of accommodation options plus semi and full expedition style camps. Beach, lake, many land and night activities or use the venue as a base for your own educational activities on the north side.

My 14 year old son just returned from a 3 day school camp there. He’s done many school camps - 6 in total - and he rated this one the highest. He said the cabins were immaculate and clean (he noted the clean base sheets with mattress protector!). He said the staff were REALLY nice. Food sounded delish. Activities were great despite the wet weather... mountain biking was a hit.

I worked at Noosa North Shore Retreat where Total Adventures hold their school camps. The smiles on the kids faces and their comments about how much fun they are having was just priceless. So when they decided to hold school holiday vacation care I jumped at the chance to enrol my 11 year old. He had a ball every day. He was so tired every night win win. He isn’t sitting in a school yard sand pit. He is active in the fresh air and they even feed him which is inclusive of the price. I highly recommend Total Adventures

We stayed recently at Total Adventures Noosa North shore, and hosted a group of 17 families for a weekend away with adventures and meals included.
Such a special place to go - where wildlife such as lace monitors, kangaroos and a python nesting on its eggs calmly go about their business.
The team were fantastic - we had a fair amount of dietary restrictions and this was catered to with a smile. The food was tasty, lovely open air dining areas helped us to deliver a covid safe event and gave us a low tech sensory experience.
The activities team run by Steven and Dean were AHMAZING. I cannot recommend them enough for high energy, patient and fun delivery.
The retreat is a bit older and being refreshed in parts - we used the bush cabins and gardenscape units and found it all great, clean, our guests were happy with the accommodation and we will be back again next year!

Went here for school camp. I am sure our school's descision to keep going here must be for a reason other than student enjoyment. Accomodation was terrible, basically a tent with uncomfortable bunks and a concrete floor. Activities were basically centred around either wading through mud or climbing the "High Ropes" in the midday sun. To top this off, we had no time to shower and change into dry clothes, but there was a mandate that shoes be worn at all times, resulting in sitting through lunch and walking around the campus with wet, sandy shoes and socks. Most of the staff were okay and one guy had a good taste in music and he brought a speaker with him on activities, but the manager was rude and unhelpful. It was a nice spot, and a shame that poor planning and management had caused an uncomfortable and underwhelming experience.
