My husband and I had the most delightful overnight stay last week. We arrived in a 40 degree heatwave in the afternoon and were given immediate relief as our beautiful accommodation had the air conditioner on in readiness for us. The accommodation in the spacious Rose Room was charming, comfortable and tastefully up to date but in keeping with this historical heritage of the winery. We enjoyed delicious meals while overlooking a glorious view over the vineyard towards the river. The owners were professional and very pleasant. Highly recommended.

Beautiful winery in a very peaceful location, great for that romantic getaway. We had the Provincial room which was very spacious and a lovely view. The Rose had the patio which looked relaxing. Dinner and breakfast were fabulous, so much to choose from on the breakfast menu! Wine tasting great, atmosphere great and a really lovely spot.

My husband and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary. It's such a beautiful place, very quaint and peaceful. We booked a dinner package in the Rose room. The meals were delicious, the room was comfortable with a view of the Rose garden. Breakfast was amazing and our host Peter was great. It's a great place to escape from the busy city, this place has great history and charm.

A charming and extremely quiet BnB between Windsor and Wisemans Ferry and very close to both. Perfect room (Rose Room) and facilities, magnificent breakfast, taken looking over the vineyard and lake of the adjoining property. A lovely base from which to spend three days exploring the Hawkesbury region. Extremely caring hosts, very good value for money, and we would certainly stay at Tizzana again. Nice to have a look through the winery and to look at the photos and records of times past. A gem, glad we found it. Thank you Peter.

A great stopover from Hunter Valley to Canberra. The drive on Putty Road was so picturesque and Tizzana is lovingly restored and nestled on the side of a hill overlooking vines and a lake. Our provincial room was large and very classy with a king bed and comfortable chairs. Enjoyed the serenity and watched a lightning storm out the window. Unfortunately the mosquitoes came in at night and buzzed in my husbands ears all night ignoring the supplied repellant we sprayed on ourselves. Fly screens are needed due to the location near water. We were delighted in the comprehensive breakfast lovingly prepared for us and think it is the most wonderful breakfast we have had in a B and B. Do take a couple of bottles with you from this historical winery too!

The location is gorgeous and the room is spacious and comfortable, but we were up all night because of the mosquitos in our room. There are no screens on the windows, so they get in easily. Even after spraying ourselves and our room we were eaten alive. The shower is also very "country" in that there is absolutely no water pressure from the shower head (to be expected, as they run on tank water).
